Most of the students at Abbey College Cambridge continue their studies at Cambridge University. Also, college graduates enter other prestigious universities in the country. Students are quite successful due to high level of academic knowledge obtained through the A-level, GCSE programs. For foreign students, it is also possible to prepare for the University Foundation course. The A-level program, standard for all colleges of the country, provides for an intensive study of 4 subjects in the first year and three in the next. 'Welcome to England'
So Abbey Cambridge College refers to a summer school designed specifically to prepare children for admission to Abbey Cambridge. 'Welcome to England' has four main objectives:
The entire period of stay in the summer school - 8 weeks (June 30 - August 22) is £ 6400. This price includes : Accommodation in Purbeck House (one of Abbey Cambridge guest houses), three meals a day, as well as all lessons, trips and activities. If you can not stay in summer school for all 8 weeks, then you will have the opportunity to undergo training for 4 weeks, from July 28 to August 22. The fee for this will be £ 3,200.
Program 2015, age 14-17, dates July 13 - August 21, the cost of 5000 pounds is all included.
Accommodation at Abbey College Cambridge is offered in a comfortable residence. It is located within walking distance from the educational building. Students live in double and single apartments. Rooms with private facilities are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Also, the college offers accommodation in the family.
Nutrition in Abbey College Cambridge is organized according to the full board scheme. Students are offered a varied menu. Three meals a day in the cafeteria of the college are also available to students of summer courses.
