Branches of British, American and Australian universities are planned to open on the outskirts of Mumbai: the leadership of the state of Maharashtra took the initiative and invited foreign universities to a new area of the city - Third Mumbai. The Third Mumbai is currently under construction, but Maharashtra's Chief Minister Devendra Fandavis is already announcing the creation of an Edu City on its grounds. At the same time, the woman shared the news that India has already signed an agreement with at least five foreign universities, each of which is included in the top 50 at the international level: three universities from America, one from the United Kingdom, and one from Australia. The specific names of the universities have not yet been announced.
In parallel with the signing of documents and the construction of campuses, the Indian authorities will be engaged in the improvement of the city itself in order to improve its infrastructure for future visitors to the city, including foreign students.
