One of the active and reliable partners of the Study Group is the University of Vermont: the scope of its research activity is known throughout the world: the most popular, developed and popular specialties are:
The University of Vermont was founded in 1791 - it is one of the oldest universities in the United States, New England. Successfully its territorial location: in the state of Vermont, known for its remarkable ecology, picturesque landscapes, and the campus itself is located practically on the shore of the large Champlain Lake. Here there are 8 faculties in the following specialties:
According to statistics, 80% of graduates of the university already in the first year after receiving the diploma find work in their specialty, which clearly demonstrates the excellent level of preparation and quality of education.
The main building of the University includes a professional educational center for students under the guidance of Study Group. This is a separate faculty, specially created so that foreign students can prepare comprehensively and fully for studying in foreign universities, especially American ones. The Foundation program is offered here, and it is taught in several variants - you will be able to choose the most convenient and effective for yourself. Each course includes academic English lessons, in-depth studies in specialized, most important subjects, as well as special adaptation programs that will help students to get used to a new academic, linguistic and cultural environment. All classes are conducted by professional educators and curators of the University of Vermont, which additionally increases the efficiency of preparation.
The program is designed for quality, effective preparation of foreign students for studying in American and world universities: the emphasis is on preparing for studying at the University of Vermont, but students can choose their own educational institution.
In each version, which is represented in the university, there are three educational blocks:
In the process of studying, each student prepares courses for educational credits, and with due diligence after the completion of the program, he can apply immediately for 2 courses. If the student has obtained the average number of credits, but successfully passed the IELTS language test (from 6.5 points) or his alternative, the enrollment for 1 course of the university will also happen almost automatically.

In the preparatory center there are the following options:
For admission, you need to know English no lower than 6.0 points on the IELTS scale or equivalent. The classes start in May, August and January.
Students with an English language level of 5.5 on the IELTS scale (or with the equivalent exam results) are accepted. Beginning of classes takes place in August. During the first period, students focus on active and super-intensive learning of the English language, the remaining two stages repeat the standard, classic version of the Foundation.
All students - both university and preparatory center - live in comfortable, cozy residences on campus. A total of 39 houses are built, which can accommodate 5,500 pupils. Students from the preparatory center live in one of the most modern houses (it was built in 2007) - here they are waiting for modern rooms (all in the residence of 4 floors), designed for 2-3 people (on request, it is possible to book a private room). In free common use there are student kitchens, bathrooms and toilets, spacious recreation areas, laundry facilities, internet access.
The small, beautiful city of Verlington with an excellent standard of living and a high level of security has become the home of the University of Vermont campus. Approximately 150 kilometers away is a large and noisy Montreal, 350 kilometers from the campus - Boston, so for fans of the quick life of megacities are also open opportunities for recreation and leisure.
The main building of the university, in which the international preparatory center is located, has recently been renovated and refurbished: there is a stylish and pleasant interior design, excellent technical equipment in every classroom and lecture hall (including interactive whiteboards and language laboratories). At the same time, about 100 students study in the center, which makes the atmosphere very comfortable and chamber, almost family.
The students of the preparatory center can use the entire infrastructure of the main campus - this makes it possible to feel like a member of a single student brotherhood, to join the general academic life. Students are granted access to extensive modern libraries, functional IT centers and scientific laboratories, computer classes, there is a cafe for recreation and several different shops are located on the territory.
