Established by the Texas Legislature in June 1969, the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston recruited its first class of 19 students in 1970. The university building consists of three apartment buildings.

  • The Phase I block was built in 1982 and offers apartments on 2-3 floors with a layout of rooms with 1-2-3 bedrooms;
  • Phase II building was built in 2005;
  • The Phase III block, completed in 2014, offers a contemporary style living environment with four floors of 1-2 bedroom apartments, a four-storey garage in the middle of the complex.
