The University of Lousville (UofL) is a research public university. The basis of the institution was the medical college, opened in 1837-1840.

Currently, about 20,000 bachelors, masters, doctoral students study here. The teaching staff includes more than 7000 highly qualified specialists of various sciences.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Dormitories of the university are located in the center of the main campus and are intended mainly for first-year students, foreign students.

Unitas Tower is an 11-storey building that can accommodate about 300 people. The building is located near the pedagogical college, music school. It is equipped with double, triple rooms with common areas:

  • Kitchen, vending machines
  • Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas.

The living areas are fully furnished, but students are not provided with bed linen and towels. They can be bought at a local store.

Belknap Residence Hall is located near the Student Activity Center, restaurants, cafes. Accommodation conditions:

  • Single rooms – 4120$ per semester

  • Common areas: showers, game rooms, kitchens, self-study.

Suites are single, double rooms in four residential buildings: Louisville Hall, Kurz Hall, Community Park, Billy Minardi. All dormitories are located on campus, some of which provide gender-sensitive housing.

In Louisville, there are many options for recreation, entertainment: city symphonic, ballet, acting theaters, museum of art, sports complexes.   1. Belknap is three miles from downtown in an area of 287 acres. There are eight colleges-faculties, sports stadiums, a tennis center.
  2. The Center for Health Sciences is a campus east of Louisville where aspiring health professionals are trained. On the territory there are medical faculties, complexes, hospital
  3. The ShelbyHurst campus is built in the eastern part of Jefferson County on an area of 230 acres: administrative buildings, several faculty schools, the Center for Predictive Medicine.
