University Abou Bekr Belkaid of Tlemcen is a multidisciplinary higher education institution. It is located on 5 university poles: Imam, Chetuan, Kiffan, the pole of the ring road - the "New Pole", the barracks of the Milod Pole.

To date, the university has 8 faculties:

Most of the university's campuses are located in the city of Tlemcen, the capital of the province of the same name, located 50 km. from the Mediterranean Sea. Tlemcen is known for its Moorish architecture, hospitality, varied food, attractions, as well as beautiful views of the mountains of the same name. The university has a campus in the small town of Magnesium, 30 km to the west.
