Universität der Bundeswehr München (abbreviated as UniBwM) is an educational institution of the state type that has been active in scientific and academic work since the beginning of the distant 1973 in Germany. Now UniBwM University with its main building and campus is located near Munich.

This German Universität is rightfully considered to be small in scale, since approximately 4,000 students take a course there every year. Academic university staff is a team of more than 1,400 teachers of the highest category. The university itself takes a very active part in various international student and faculty exchange programs.

Bachelor's and master's degree programs are taught in small groups. The modern campus infrastructure supports an active research culture that is open to innovation, and the university offers numerous opportunities for professional development.

UniBwM consists of two parts: the University itself, which includes 7 faculties, and the University of Applied Sciences with 3 departments. The awarded bachelor's and master's degrees are fully recognized by the state on par with diplomas from other German universities.

The university conducts active research in cybersecurity and operations research: the COMTESSA competence center specializes in crisis and emergency management. The university has a developed startup and innovation support ecosystem — the dtec.bw incubator, the SpaceFounders accelerator, and the ESA BIC program.

The campus includes residential buildings, so undergraduate and graduate students live directly on university grounds.

Master's students of the Faculty of Public and Social Sciences participate annually in educational research trips within the module «International Law and Politics in Practice»: they study conflict dynamics on the ground, meet with representatives of international organizations, government bodies and local residents, and visit key event sites and memorial sites.

This is a higher educational institution, which with the constant regularity of recent years, takes the highest positions in the country's ranking - one of the top 80 universities in Germany. 

The university in Germany has made sure that students are provided with everything they need. On campus there is a hostel, a large scientific library, as well as modern outdoor sports grounds and parks for recreation and leisure. The university itself is famous around the world for its active work in such a well-known research group: the European University Association (EUA).

In parallel with the general results of entrance examinations in order to join the ranks of students of this high school in Germany, each applicant undertakes on his part to provide data on his previous progress at the place of study.
