The Sunshine Kindergarten (TSK) is a kindergarten owned by the British School of Kuwait (BSK).
The institution opened in September 2008. At the moment, children aged 19 months to 4 years study here, who then go to the preparatory classes of BSK.
The study programmes in the garden and the school are identical to the British educational system, thanks to which the study is effective, exciting and intensive. Many of the pupils speak English as a second language, so communication is a priority of each year of study. Classes are organized in a playful and interactive form, include speaking and listening, early reading and writing skills. Thanks to this approach to learning, both institutions are leaders in success among Kuwaiti schools.
Accommodation, meals, prices
The kindergarten accepts pupils for the daytime, without providing places to stay.
Usually parents provide children with packed lunches, but the staff will gladly treat the child to fruit or dairy products for a snack. Mini lunches are provided to pupils in the "late club".
All students must comply with the dress code by wearing appropriate clothing to sports activities. Employees advise wearing simple and comfortable black shoes or sneakers, clothes in the color of belonging to one of the Houses. Uniforms can be purchased at the BSK store on campus.
Activities The Sunshine Kindergarten
Pupils of The Sunshine Kindergarden often travel under the supervision of teachers. Basically, trips are organized in Kuwait: entertainment events, children's centers, festivals. Without the permission of the parents, the child will not be able to go.
During the school year, children not only learn basic skills, but also develop their creative and physical sides. In extracurricular and post-school hours, educators conduct music and art master classes, teach children to interact with each other and with elders, teach them self-care and safety. Children are engaged in drawing, modeling, assembling construction sets, listening and gradually reading books.
