The Global College is a co-educational school for 15-18 year olds focusing on the IB Diploma. The Global College prepares students for top universities and successful careers.

Thanks to the cooperation of The Global College and IE University, students aged 15-18 can already immerse themselves in the world of entrepreneurship: creating and launching projects, testing a variety of hypotheses, preparing presentations and giving speeches, practicing group work, working side by side with real professionals - social entrepreneurs, startup founders.

The basic principles of learning at The Global College:

Accommodation, meals, prices
Students wishing to study in a boarding format are housed in a cozy residence a 10-minute walk from the academic building. It is a safe and comfortable accommodation surrounded by a quiet and prosperous neighborhood, close to several subway stops, buses, and nearby bicycle parking.
They offer fully equipped rooms for 1-2 people. The residence has a dedicated staff on duty at all times to answer any questions you may have. There is fast WiFi, a catering service, evening and weekend activities where you can socialize with new friends and have a great time.
Activities The Global College
The location of The Global College in Madrid provides students with the best environment during their studies and many options for interesting leisure, travel, and entertainment. Madrid is a very international city, attracting about 75,000 students every year: they are attracted by the 20 local universities that support the international Erasmus program. It's a cozy European capital with a pleasant sunny climate - on average the sun shines here 300 days a year!
There is always something to see and do here. UNESCO has taken under protection many monuments of Madrid: Prado Museum, Museum of Queen Sofia and Thyssen-Bornemisza, the Royal Palace and Royal Opera, Egyptian Temple, dating back to the II. - There are a lot of places for walks and excursions! You can drive to nearby Toledo and Segovia, go to Barcelona or Seville, go to the majestic Escorial. The international airport of Madrid-Barajas is only 12 km away.
Sports are extremely well-developed in the city: soccer (Spanish footballers are considered some of the best in the world for a reason!), basketball and tennis. In the evenings you can go to the theater or the opera, see a Broadway musical or a rock concert, sit in a bar with live music. The cuisine of Spain and Madrid deserves a special mention: you can enjoy local tapas cafes, restaurants and bars forever! And of course, shopping: from luxury boutiques to the most interesting antique stores, second hand stores, local brands and regular markets and sales.
There is a very convenient and developed transport system (300 metro stations, many bus lines, bicycles, suburban trains Cercanías), so that to get to any point will be easy and fast.

Facilities and equipment at The Global College
The Global College has a well-equipped campus in Madrid's Barrio de Salamanca. The building used to be home to IE University's business school, so there's no doubt about the level of facilities. The campus is open 7 days a week, including weekends, so students can study at their own pace.

Enrolment process
- Contact the school with the help of your educational advisor: this way you will be given the most up-to-date information and admission deadlines. It is possible to arrange a study visit.
- Submit the application (online) and accompanying documents.
- If accepted, applicants are invited to take the CAT4 test, which determines the level of knowledge in core areas (including language and mathematics), as well as a personal interview.
- If the decision on admission is positive, the applicant receives precise instructions on further actions: the order of payment, additional documents, visa preparation and timing of arrival to the campus.
Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
Applicants receive support from The Global College staff all the way through the admission process. The main criteria for selection are an appropriate high level of knowledge (intellectual competence), a high level of motivation, and a confident command of English. The documents required are academic transcripts from the previous place of study, a completed application form, certificate of proficiency in English; each student is interviewed in person.
Deadline for applications is January 31; admissions open in September of the previous year. Review time is up to 1 month. Interviews are conducted in November-December. If there are seats left on the course, applicants may enroll during the school year. But, in general, places get filled pretty quickly; there is even a waiting list.
Scholarships The Global College
The school offers a 10% discount to students whose siblings are already attending The Global College.
Several scholarships are also available (apply after the application deadline of January 31):
- Merit-based Scholarships: for outstanding academic achievement, for successful students in technology, entrepreneurship, CAS.
- Means-tested Grants: Available to students of all nationalities and based on the financial ability of the individual student.
