There are many jokes on the Internet about travelers stealing towels from hotels and taking away bags full of food from the buffet. If this is funny for someone, then hotel workers are annoyed by such behavior!

Irrational use of towels
Hotel administrators ask guests to take care of towels, including using them for several days. There are several reasons for this: women often wash off makeup with them, and traces of cosmetics are difficult to remove from the fabric, and if you wash towels often, they quickly wear out and have to be thrown away. Carry wet wipes or micellar water with you, take care of the hotel property.
Turn on loud music
The walls in hotels are very thin, but many guests forget about this: they turn on music on speakers or watch TV at full volume. This is a nuisance for other travelers and employees.
They ask to clean the room every day
If guests do not hang a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door of the room, then the maids must clean every day. Few people try to maintain cleanliness, make beds, and during the night some can arrange a whole pogrom! To make the work of maids easier, you can abandon daily cleaning and keep the room more or less tidy.
Guests do not ask to remove dirty dishes
After travelers order food in the hotel restaurant and finish their meal, only a few call the reception and ask to remove dirty dishes - usually guests leave everything in the room or take the cart out into the corridor. It is better to immediately ask to remove all the used dishes, so as not to add work to the maids.
Leave a mess in the rooms
Again, to make the work of the maids easier, you can clean up the room before leaving: fold towels, rinse the sink. It will take no more than five minutes, no one expects from you, of course, a perfect result, but the hotel staff will gratefully accept your act.
But you should not make the bed: the bed linen will definitely be changed after you, so the maid will still disassemble all the bedding.
Do not shift your responsibilities to others, thinking that they are paid for it anyway! Respect other people's work and guests who have become your neighbors for a while.
