Summer School TVSS has organized language summer courses in Britain for more than a quarter of a century. They are held in the most prestigious schools in the country. One of these is the Oundle School. It is located near the university town of Cambridge. The Oundle School provides excellent conditions for effective study and comfortable stay. The educational institution, which has been leading its history since 1556, accepts students of summer courses in the modern Junior School building, which was opened just over 10 years ago.
Highly qualified teachers work at the lessons with students. In addition to academic preparation, students are given the opportunity to engage in sports and creativity. The Thames Valley Summer School concept provides for a comprehensive development of the child's personality.
Brief information. English course for children wishing to spend their summer holidays in England, studying the language and getting acquainted with the sights of the country.
About the course. Program with an intensity of studies up to 25 h / week. Provides for the study of English grammar, general vocabulary, development of oral, written and listening skills. Lessons are held in the form of games, quizzes, discussions, seminars, debates. Neskuchnoe training is supplemented by an exciting extra-curricular program. At events children in an informal setting consolidate knowledge, improve language skills.
Students age: 9 - 14 years old.

Requirements for admission: English at the primary level.
Learning outcomes: development of conversational English skills, surrender of Trinity exam, obtaining a certificate confirming the level of language proficiency.
Class size: up to 15 students.
Duration of the lesson: 40 minutes.
Cost: £ 1820 (2 weeks), £ 2600 (3 Weeks), £ 3,455 (4 weeks).
The price includes: a study program, study materials, a certificate at the end of the program and the exam, full day excursions once a week, lunch activities 6 times a week, including 1 time a week excursion to London and other cities for half a day, as well as lunch recreational activities, 7 times a week evening activities, accommodation in the school, meals 3 times a day, gi laundry.
Students of summer courses are offered accommodation in the residence. In the building there are single and double rooms, rooms designed for 3 - 5 residents. Facilities are located on the floors (one bathroom and a bathroom for 5 rooms). The residence also has cozy lounges with TV.
The price includes weekly laundry services, daily maid service on weekdays, 24-hour security.
The distribution of children in the residence takes place by age, sex. Students are guaranteed accommodation with representatives of other nationalities.
The boarding school provides meals at the Oundle School. Breakfasts, lunches, dinners are served in the school cafeteria.
A busy extra-curricular program in the school is represented by a variety of activities. Every day students of summer courses can go in for sports (basketball, volleyball, badminton), play football, cricket, rugby, squash, exercise in the gym, swim in the pool. Creative persons are waiting for a design studio. Evening entertainment program is presented by discos, shows, film screenings, barbeque-paty.
The price includes the excursion program. Two excursions are planned per week (one per day and half a day, respectively). During these students, Thames Valley Summer School can visit Canterbury, London, Cambridge, Oxford, and other interesting cities in the country.
The daily routine
In the morning in the summer school there are English lessons. In the afternoon, students are offered tours and circles. In the evening - entertainment.
Oundle School (Junior building) has 16 classrooms with modern equipment, computer lab, design and art studio. Sports infrastructure of the school is represented by tennis courts, sports grounds, a sports hall with necessary equipment, a 43-meter pool with heated water. The accommodation sector includes residences within walking distance from the academic building.
