Stolypin Institute of Humanities

The Institute was established on December 30, 1993 by the decision of the sole founder of the Closed Joint Stock Company "Higher Stolypin Courses of State Law and Management", the idea of creating which was born in the spring of 1993 in the Moscow Noble Assembly. 

Great moral support for the new Institute was provided by the famous politician, writer, athlete, the strongest man in the world Yu.P. Vlasov. A number of Moscow banks, the Institute for Advanced Eduaction of Legprom Workers, prominent scientists and politicians, such as professors V.A. Urazov, O.A. Orchakov, V.V. Egorov, V.M. Gorokhov, L.A. Alkhovsky, N.A. Minkina, V.I. Nikitin, ALSO contributed to the creation of the institute.

The educational process at the institute is carried out in accordance with the curriculum approved for each area of education.

At the Institute, students are educated at the following faculties:

• law and governance;
• distance learning;
• additional education and advanced education; 

The Faculty of Law and Management includes 5 departments:

• humanities and natural sciences;
• economics and management;
• history and theories of state and law;
• private law;
• public law and criminology.

The faculty of additional education and advanced eduaction includes the following centers:

• additional education of children CLEVER STUDY CLUB;
• preparation of schoolchildren for the OGE /EGE SUPER-ATIS;
• creativity for children and adults ORIGO;
• intercultural communication AMICITIA;
• EVENTUS scientific and practical events;
• ULULA Student Law Center.

The Humanitarian Institute named after P.A. Stolypin carries out scientific activities in accordance with the Plan of Scientific Research adopted by the Scientific Council of the Institute.

The main form of organization of scientific activities of the university is research works (projects), the result of which is participation in the annual scientific and practical student conference "Stolypin Readings" and publications in printed publications of the university.

Within the framework of the conference, in different years, specialists and practitioners of external organizations were involved in participation: employees of the Yuzhnoye Butovo District Administration of Moscow, heads of the Municipal Formation of the State Enterprise "Beloozersky", representatives of the administration of the Voskresensky municipal district of the Moscow region, partners of the institute from state, public, municipal and state unitary and commercial organizations, as well as partner universities: Moscow Social and Pedagogical State University, Moscow Pedagogical Institute, Metropolitan Academy of Finance and Humanities.

• In order to establish effective international partnerships and cooperation in the field of education, the delegation of the Institute visited the West Finnish Linguistic College in Guittinen (Finland).  
• The Humanitarian Institute named after P.A. Stolypin together with the State Budgetary Institution of Moscow "Resource Center for the Development and Support of the Volunteer Movement "Mosvolonter", subordinate to the Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy of the City of Moscow, conducts recruitment and education of volunteers.

The hostel does not provide overnight stays at the P.A. Stolypin Humanitarian Institute.

For the organization of meals for students and employees, the Institute has concluded an agreement with Median LLC. 

Within the framework of the Student Legal Center established in 2014, senior law students under the guidance of the institute's teachers and specialists with practical experience in law enforcement agencies provide free legal assistance (consultations) to individuals and legal entities.

The Institute conducts its educational activities at five educational zones with a total area of 582.1 sq.m.  

5 classrooms of the Institute are equipped with specialized furniture necessary for mastering educational subjects with demonstration equipment, which includes 24 computers combined into a single computer network, server, MFP, scanner, multimedia projector.

The educational process is provided by a stationary computer class, a laboratory laboratoryequipped for conducting classes in forensics, a courtroom, rooms for self-education of students with Internet access, a library.

The sports hall of the Institute is equipped with sports equipment for team sports, for boxing, wrestling and martial arts, for gymnastics and athletics.

To provide primary health care, the institute has a medical office.

The university creates conditions for students with disabilities and students with disabilities to receive education.

The educational process at the institute begins on September 1. After 4-5 months, students pass exams and tests, to which all types of classes planned for the semester are allowed.  Intermediate certification is held twice in the academic year.

In addition to tuition fees, additional expenses for university students may include: accommodation (for non-residents), travel and food expenses, leisure and other expenses.

To enter the university, applicants must submit to the admission committee an application in Russian language for admission to study with the application of the necessary documents: 

• identity document, citizenship (copy with the submission of the original);
• SNILS (copy with the submission of the original or a certified copy);
• a document on education (a copy with the submission of the original or a certified copy);
• a document confirming the change of surname, name, patronymic (if necessary, a copy with the submission of the original or a certified copy);
• 2 photos 3x4 ;
• certificate of recognition of foreign education (if necessary);
• documents confirming the individual achievements of the applicant, the results of which are taken into account when applying for education.

Documents made in a foreign language must be translated into Russian.

Documents can be submitted in person, by mail or in electronic form.

The institute provides for the possibility of passing entrance tests remotely.

For admission to the first year of undergraduate programs, the institute allocates 150 places for full-time form, 100 places for full-time correspondence courses, and 70 places for correspondence courses.

Students who receive good recommendations during the internship period can start a career immediately after graduation.

• Completed secondary general education (11 grades), secondary vocational or higher education;
• Successful completion of entrance examinations;
• Results of the Unified State Exam.

The minimum number of points on the Unified State Exam and entrance tests:

• Mathematics – 27;
• Russian language – 36;
• History – 32;
• Informatics and ICT – 40;
• Social Studies – 42.
