Nursery, Детский сад
- Age — 3-5 years old,
- Duration of study — one or two years.
The kindergarten department provides a comfortable and safe environment for the development of the youngest students: from 2 years 9 months to 5 years old. The curriculum at this stage is based on a combination of creativity, play and interactive lessons, which helps children create a solid foundation for developing important communication, analytical and learning skills.
The main focus is on three areas:
- Communication, language,
- Physical development,
- Personal, social and emotional development.
All of them are studied using four specific areas: literacy, mathematics, understanding the world and expressive art, design. Through group activities, one-on-one communication with a teacher and independent play, children develop comprehensively, gradually discovering their talents and trying different avenues for self-expression. Outside of class hours they will find thematic clubs where students can draw, study science, dance and play sports in a playful format.
A student’s parents can choose the most comfortable learning format for their child: from several hours a week to a full day stay in the group every weekday.
Kindergarten serves as a preparatory stage for transitioning to preschool education, helping children gradually adapt to an academic environment.
Infant School, Дошкольное образование
- Age — 4-7 years old,
- Duration of study — three years.
The preschool department includes training in the preparatory group, first and second grades of primary school. At this stage, the program is based on the same curriculum that students are familiar with from kindergarten: three main areas, considered through mathematics, literature, expressive arts and natural sciences. The main difference from learning in kindergarten will be a wider range of topics that students will study: classes will take place in a slightly stricter format, students will be allowed to access more diverse materials to broaden their horizons, and lessons will go beyond the classroom and will be periodically organized at Forest School.
In grades 1-2, the curriculum gradually expands and becomes more complex in order to prepare students for further transition. By the end of training, all students will be able to read and count, will know the rules of communication and behavior in society, and will develop skills that will help them succeed at a more challenging academic level.
