Schiller International University is an international private university with four campuses. One of the new educational areas is in Tampa, Florida.

The history of the institution began in 1964, when Walter Leibrecht created an international program for the teaching of Americans living in West Germany - it was taught in Germany and France. Opened in 1991, the Florida campus has taken over the teaching of accredited higher education programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels to students from all over the world. The campus of Schiller International University, located in Tampa, is a 36-story building with an academic area of 6831 sq. ft. The academic year consists of two semesters:

• The International Scholarship for Talented Students is open to first-year undergraduate students, all full-time graduate students. Selected students receive up to 40% of the annual cost of the program to cover expenses,
• High School Medallion scholarship is an award for first-year undergraduate students who entered the university with high secondary education diploma scores,
• Academic Excellence Scholarship is a scholarship for sophomores of all undergraduate specializations, paid on the basis of a high GPA for the first year of study,
