Review about Thames Valley Summer Schools- Rugby School
Super summer course! In principle, foreign trips are always good for me, but when I received more than I expected, it is a real delight.
I will say right away that I was travelling without a specific goal: to pump up English, to see London. In fact, everything turned out to be much cooler and "bigger"!
1. Competent division into groups at the very beginning, so that you study with those who know English just like you. Seriously, everything was super-attentive from the teachers.
2. A wide range of foreign students. The first few days are difficult, but then you look - and everything is somehow, crooked, and start speak English, so that you yourself are being drawn in. A lot of Asian guys, a lot of Americans.
3. The British are obsessed with sports - keep this in mind if you go there to study. A variety of sports sections, all sorts of games and sports games just rolls over. Although there were plenty of craft clubs and more "quiet" clubs, too, I won't lie. But the brightest events are in sports.)
4. Very friendly EVERYTHING: both teachers, and educators with their assistants (like our counselors), and tour guides — all are radiant with kindness and a desire to help you. Surprisingly, all this is very unobtrusive, does not interfere and does not bother.
In general, I liked it very much. What is not very typical for me, I even called a couple of friends for the next summer: it’s not at all boring, as it may seem to someone, a cool option for recreation and studying.
