Repton School is one of the oldest and most prestigious British schools. The year of its foundation was 1557, and initially it was intended only for boys: mixed studying was introduced only in 1992. The fervent supporters of the idea of collaborative learning is the director Robert Holroyd, who exemplifies the advantages of this form of education by personal example (his two daughters are currently studying at Rapton). In 2007, an educational institution was opened in the UAE, Dubai, which creates the widest opportunities for student exchange, giving children a chance to get education in two completely different parts of the world.

The school is located in the homonymous village in the central part of England, in the picturesque and quiet area of South Derbyshire. At any time, parents of schoolchildren can apply to teachers and receive a report on academic performance, involvement in school life, to communicate with educators in various subjects, to learn about the success of their child in extracurricular activities, creativity or sports. The school maintains an electronic score sheet, to which parents have constant free access.

One of the most striking aspirations of the educational institution is to develop the individual potential of each student, to enable him to realize his personal talents and abilities. The success of this approach is indicated by all the improving results of exams and tests, as well as sports achievements of students: graduates constantly take prizes at Wimbledon (juniors), and the fees of boys and girls become champions in the national hockey championship (also juniors).
