Summer Course: Citizens of the Future

This course offers students to combine effective English language learning with the acquisition of important social and personal skills. The curriculum includes 20 weekly lessons distributed into three blocks:

  • Basic English: theoretical and practical classes developing reading and writing skills, spoken language and listening comprehension, vocabulary and grammar,
  • Focus on communication: classes focused on practicing academic essays and business reports, participating in debates, creative writing, giving presentations,
  • Learning and innovation: collaborative work with classmates on projects aimed at improving communication and collaboration skills, the ability to think critically and implement creative ideas.

The second aspect of the curriculum will be participation in real social projects, through which students will acquire practical skills in practice: develop a plan for cleaning up the territory, create an informational brochure on the importance of environmental conservation, write an article about one of the global problems of the community.

Summer Course: Artist of the Future

The program is perfect for students interested in developing their talent in one of four areas:

  • Fine arts,
  • Drama,
  • Music,
  • Dance.

The curriculum is perfectly balanced, allowing students to effectively improve their language and creative skills, participate in numerous extracurricular activities, and relax. Every week, pupils can expect 20 hours of classes divided into three areas:

  • Basic English — theoretical and practical lessons where students improve their speaking and listening skills, reading and vocabulary, grammar and writing, expand their vocabulary,
  • Focus on Art — students choose one of four specializations and attend thematic classes, master classes for a week (they can choose another direction in the following week),
  • Education and Innovation — lessons aimed at improving the ability to work in a team and build communication, implement creative ideas and think critically. In most cases, students work in groups on common projects during these lessons.

Each creative specialization is taught for 7.5 hours weekly. Studying takes place in premises equipped for practice, whether it's an art studio or a drama theater with rehearsal rooms. The directions are taught by qualified teachers who have many years of experience in this field and their own achievements, allowing students to gain new knowledge and practice skills at a high level.

The curriculum for this course involves intensive study of the English language in basic classes and through the study of additional subjects chosen each week. The academic summer program offers students a wide range of specializations:

  • Natural Sciences.

By choosing one direction for a week, a student can change it in the following one to expand their academic experience and field of knowledge.

The curriculum for the course students consists of weekly 20 hours of classes distributed across three areas:

Summer Course: Champions of the Future

This course offers students the opportunity to intensively improve their English language skills and develop their tennis proficiency. Participants can expect almost 29 hours of classes and studying each week:

  • Basic English - lessons in small groups where each student receives individual attention to their abilities. Teachers help students improve basic skills by practicing grammar and vocabulary, reading and writing, speaking and listening.
  • Focus on tennis - theoretical classes where students learn about anatomy and injury prevention, game strategies, nutrition, and sports psychology.
  • Technical preparation - studying under the guidance of qualified professionals, where students will improve their physical fitness, develop technical skills and abilities, improve posing, agility and footwork, and practice complex strategies.

Students are provided with everything necessary to achieve excellent results: from academic resources to improve language skills to sports equipment for productive training.

Oundle School Summer Camp is an international seasonal camp for students aged 12-17, offering programs to study English and develop important skills, based on the interests of children and teenagers.

Accommodation, meals, prices

The residences are located on the educational campus, offering to students rooms of various sizes: each bedroom has from one to six beds, and rooms accommodate children of the same gender and age. Bathrooms are shared and located on the floors.

Every day, students visit a large dining hall where they are provided with three meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner, prepared according to international and British recipes. If desired, pupils can order a personalized menu with vegetarian, special dietary and religious dishes.

Activities Oundle School Summer Camp

All summer courses include a wide range of extracurricular activities, allowing you to enjoy the natural beauty of the region, get to know your classmates better and make friends, explore attractions and acquire new skills. On weekdays, after the main lessons are completed, students participate in group events, whether it's a quiz or a movie night, board games or a cooking workshop. On Wednesdays, they can visit Aundl village in small groups and under the supervision of a teacher. Weekends are devoted to longer trips to see the sights, visit entertainment and cultural venues.

Admission dates and extra charges

Seasonal camps usually take place in July-August, lasting from one to four weeks, providing students with the opportunity to choose the duration and start time of their studies. Students follow a strict schedule that includes time for waking up and going to bed, attending classes and the dining hall, rest and extracurricular activities.

The cost of the courses already includes:

Enrolment process

Applicants must complete the registration form and submit the required documents, after which the admissions committee will send further instructions regarding enrollment and arrival in the United Kingdom. Upon arrival on campus, students take placement tests to be assigned to a suitable group and begin their studies.
