Bachelor (Hons)

The course provides an in-depth understanding of both popular music performance and biblical concepts of worship. For three years, the teachers of the course have been combining joint educational formats with individual lessons in order to qualitatively improve the level of mastery of musical instruments and techniques among students.
Nexus ICA is committed to preparing students for careers that go beyond the academic process and basic skill set. Separate sessions in the course will focus on preparing students for success in different work settings. As an additional bonus for students, guest lecturers give lectures and master classes, giving an idea of how university knowledge and skills can lead to a full-fledged career.
One-Year Course

- The duration of the training is one year.
The One-Year Popular Music and Worship Course with the Certificate of Higher Education (Cert HE) has been designed for professional education with a parallel deepening in the biblical concept of worship. Special lessons with playing instruments are aimed at honing and developing basic musical skills.
In addition to mastering basic disciplines, students have the opportunity to perform in a well-equipped concert hall. Teachers always provide feedback during classes and after concert performances.
Master
- Age — from 21 years old.
- The duration of the training is two years.
The Music Performance program gives students the opportunity to spend part-time work at the institute without losing the quality of their education. In parallel with improving musical knowledge and skills, undergraduates are engaged in scientific research in the field of popular music.
The course combines hands-on learning and an academic foundation. Individual tuition and work in a local ensemble fully unleashes the creative potential of each student. Academic modules additionally prepare Master's students to create a final research project based on practical skills.

Nexus Institute of Creative Arts (Nexus ICA) is a Christian institution offering higher education qualifications for students aged 18 and up. Accommodation, meals, prices
For undergraduate students, the institute offers assistance in finding housing in the city. Nexus ICA has partnerships with local landlords who provide students with comfortable and conveniently located local accommodation. From three to five students of the same sex can live in one house, each of the buildings has either its own terrace or combined space with neighboring houses. Most of the buildings are located half an hour's walk from the Nexus ICA. The houses are fully furnished: bulky items, household appliances, cutlery, dishes. Bedding is not included in the resident's set.
Each student has their own private room with furniture in the house:

All living quarters comply with fire safety standards.
Activities Nexus Institute of Creative Arts
Every year, Nexus ICA staff and students organize activities outside of the curriculum: Christmas concerts, workshops, and talent shows.

Facilities and equipment at Nexus Institute of Creative Arts
The institute itself is located in the Astoria House, a building that opened in 1922 as a cinema and has a rich history and now houses teaching and concert facilities commissioned by the Nexus ICA.
The building contains:
- individual classrooms for each of the instrumental areas, where there is a portable loudspeaker, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, disabled access, tables and chairs,
- special rehearsal rooms equipped with an acoustic system,
- A few recent Apple iMac models that have the music creation and editing software you need to learn and work
- a large hall with a capacity of 250 people and a stage for events; access for the disabled, a sound system, a projector and Wi-Fi are configured,
Admission dates and extra charges
Approximate dates of study periods:
- First semester: October 2 to February 5,
- Second semester: from February 26 to July 12.
Between study periods, holidays are organized in honor of holidays. The current dates of the next academic year are published annually during the summer or spring season.
Additional expenses for students: accommodation, meals, transportation, study materials and personal expenses (travel, shopping, medical services).

Perspectives
Upon graduation from the Nexus ICA, the student will receive one of the following professional qualifications for further employment:
- A one-year post-secondary certificate validated by the University of West London, equivalent to the first year of a diploma course.
- A three-year undergraduate course with honours, confirmed by the University of West London.
Students who have completed two years of study at Nexus ICA now have the opportunity to continue their studies in London to obtain a classification degree from the University of West London.
Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
International applicants for admission to the Nexus ICA must:
- have an amount equivalent to 64 UCAS tariff points,
- Meet the technical level of English, including musical and biblical terminology, IELTS level 6.
