MODUL University was founded in 2007 as an internationally oriented educational institution with research in the fields of tourism, public administration and media technology.
The university is famous for its internationality: 40% of all students are foreign ones.
Despite the fairly young age, the educational institution managed to win an international vocation:

Educational process
Instruction is conducted entirely in English and is practice-oriented: students have access to internships, project work, and engagement with the professional industry. The university provides comprehensive support: academic mentors from the Open Office service assist with program selection, academic performance, study planning, and adaptation to life in Vienna.
The institution also operates academic advising, mentoring, career development, and psychological support services. An orientation week and a mentoring program are held for new students to help them settle into their new environment. Students with insufficient English proficiency are offered a preparatory semester with language support.

- The campus is located on Kahlenberg mountain, from which in 1683 the liberation forces led by Polish King Jan Sobieski III descended into besieged Vienna and caught the Ottomans by surprise,

A one-time administrative fee is charged for the check-in service, which is waived for students who return the signed contract and pay the first invoice within 15 days.
