Massey University began operations in 1927 as a small agricultural college in Palmerston North. Under the leadership of its first leader, Sir Jeffrey Peren, it has expanded and earned an enduring reputation as an educational institution. In 1964, Massey became a full-fledged university, continuing to grow to become the largest university in New Zealand with campuses in three cities. Massey University offers a variety of accommodation options across three campuses. Accommodation options include meal or self-service packages.
Massey's Oakland campus is located in Albany, on the north coast of Auckland. There is a shopping center, cinema, libraries, many cafes and restaurants nearby. The campus is a short drive from Auckland's vibrant city center and Viaduct Harbor.
Te hanga Village is a hub for student life located in the heart of the Auckland Massie campus. The village consists of:
- 3 serviced dorms
- 210 self-service single bedrooms for 70 people
- 12 self-catering studios.
It is the first and only five-star student accommodation village in New Zealand to receive a Gold Star for Sustainable Development Initiatives.
The Massey campus in Manavatu is where it all began over 90 years ago. Historic buildings and beautiful gardens reflect the history of the campus. If you like outdoor recreation, walking, cycling on the Manavatu River, relaxing on the nearby beaches, then this is the choice for you.
A student living in a homestay is located in a fully furnished room with unlimited Internet access, access to a kitchen, bathroom, toilet, laundry, living room, dining room. Some host families may have more than one student.

- The innovative campus of Massey University in Auckland / tehā is located on the north shore of New Zealand's largest city - Auckland. Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
- For most undergraduate programs, the minimum academic entry requirement is successful completion of a qualification equivalent to 13th year of study in New Zealand (NCEA Level 3 University Admission). For graduates of Russian schools - the successful completion of a year of study at an internationally recognized higher education institution. Requirements for knowledge of English for applicants for a bachelor's degree: IELTS - from 6, TOEFL - 80, PTE - 50, CAE - 170.
- A bachelor's degree from a recognized institution of higher education is required for applicants to master's programs. Requirements for knowledge of English: IELTS - from 6.5, TOEFL - 90, PTE - 58, CAE - 180.
- Prospective doctoral students require a Bachelor's (Hons), Master's degree with First or Second Class Honors, Section 1 (B + and above) with independent research experience.
