Infancy Program: 1&2 Cycles

The kindergarten program covers the education of children aged from four months to six years, consistsing of two stages:
First Cycle: Children from four months to two years old
This first educational stage is necessary to obtain a solid foundation for further study. The main goal is to contribute to the intellectual, motor, social and emotional development of children, paying individual attention to each pupil. At this stage, the classes are conducted by two teachers, specialists in English, music and psychomotor skills, who show exceptional care and attention to the needs of the child, maintaining constant contact with his family.
From the first day, children are offered to explore the world around them through play, communication and a variety of educational activities. Through exploration of nature, sciences, art and music, light, textures and sounds, students begin to better understand their abilities, gain confidence and love for learning.
Second Cycle: Students between the ages of two and six
The second cycle of early education includes three classes, covering the preparation of children from 3 to 6 years old. The methodology that is used in kindergarten teaches students through motivational activities. The basics of the curriculum, as in the previous stage, are emotional and sensory intelligence, graphomotor skills, reading and writing, English, music, psychomotor skills and physical exercise. At this stage, technology is gradually introduced into the lessons - students begin to use iPads and attend robotics classes.
At the end of the preschool stage, each child will have basic skills that are important for further learning.
Primary Years Program (PYP)
- Age of students – from 6 to 12 years,
- The studying period is six years.
At the stage of primary school, special emphasis is made on the development of thinking, interaction with people and research skills. The interdisciplinary system of teaching subjects helps students master the sciences, realize their action and application in everyday life. The curriculum includes a variety of subjects, including English and Spanish, mathematics, sciences and humanities, arts and sports.
In primary school, 50% of subjects are taught in English, which is the language of communication in many fields of science and art. Mathematics is taught in both Spanish and English. Spanish is used in the language classes themselves, in physical education and religion lessons. Valencian is an optional language used to study Valencian culture and music. The second foreign language for compulsory study is introduced in the fifth grade - students choose between French or German. From this year, the curriculum begins to be structured by analogy with secondary school, which stipulates separate teachers for each subject.
Gradually, students prepare for the transition to a more rigorous academic program of middle school, by the time of admission they will have the necessary scientific knowledge and practical skills.
Middle Years Program (MYP)
- Age of students – from 13 to 16 years,
- The studying period is four years.
Based on the IB MYP program, middle school education is an academic rigorous learning process with an extensive list of disciplines studied. In the first two years, students study eight subject groups, each of which takes at least 50 hours of academic time. In the last two years, the curriculum offers a lot of flexibility in the choice of subjects, giving students the opportunity to study from 6 to 8 subject groups in order to prepare for the transition to a diploma program or admission to specialized institutions.

The percentage of teaching in English is 35%, as it is believed that the language has already gained a foothold among students. Basically, subjects are taught in Spanish, with the exception of language electives: German, French.
National Baccalaureate Program
- Age of students – from 16 years old,
- The studying period is two years.
To obtain a National Baccalaureate diploma, students will have to choose one of three scientific fields:
- Humanities, Social Sciences,
- Science, technology,
- Art.
Specialization stipulates an in-depth study of disciplines in this area, specialized preparation for exams for two years. Under the guidance of qualified teachers, students will master the areas they are interested in, gain valuable knowledge and skills to become a competitive applicant for the university they have chosen.
Instruction conducts in small groups that help teachers to give individual attention to each student, both in terms of teaching methods and their academic, professional goals.
Upon successful completion of the diploma program, the student receives a certificate that allows him to continue his studies at one of the universities in Spain.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP)

- The studying period is two years.
The International Baccalaureate program at the school is available in three language formats: fully in English, fully in Spanish or bilingual.
In the last two years of study, subjects from six academic areas and several compulsory electives are studied. Subject areas include:

Electives for mandatory passing include:
- Theory of Knowledge (ToK) – This subject is based on critical reflection on various forms and domains of knowledge. Through questions and discussions, students develop a deeper understanding of their personal and ideological assumptions, learn to respect different positions and opinions,
- Extended essay is an individual work on the topic of two selected subjects, which involves writing an article of 4,000 words,
- Creativity, Activities, and Service Activities (CAS) are a series of activities that allow a student to engage in community activities and help local communities. To obtain this degree, a student needs to complete at least 150 hours of study during their two years of study.
Upon completion of the IB Diploma Program, students will be able to enter many universities around the world, including, of course, Spanish ones.
Christmas Camp
- Age of students – from 5 years old,
- Dates – December-January,
- The duration of studying is one week.
During the Christmas holidays, the university offers short-term courses for younger students from 5 years and older. You can choose from:
- Soccer
- Basketball
- Tennis
- Volleyball
- Paddle tennis.
Studying takes place from 9:30 to 13:30 under the guidance of qualified coaches and with the support of professional sports schools.
Easter Camp
- Dates – April,
- The studying period is five days.
Five studying days, which allow students to learn a sport from scratch or succeed with the skills they already have, take place during the Easter holidays. Classes are available in sports areas:
- Basketball
- Soccer
- Gymnastics
- Volleyball
- Rock climbing
- Paddle tennis.
Training is conducted from 9:30 to 13:30 on each of the five days. Students will master new techniques under the guidance of professional specialists who are members of specialized sports partner schools of Mas Camarena International School.
Summer Camp
- Age of students – from 1 to 18 years old,
- Dates — June-July,
- The duration of studying is from one week.
During the summer months, the Mas Camarena campus hosts 11 short-term programs, providing education for students of a certain age.
- Happy Summer (4 months to 5 years)
Designed specifically for younger students, the program includes English classes, a variety of games, story, music and handicraft evenings.
- English and Sports (6 to 12 years old)
Thematic English classes, adapted to each age group, offer intensive improvement of basic language skills. In their free time, children are engaged in robotics, programming, art and various sports.
- Learning Spanish (6 to 18 years old)
Through recreational activities and small group studies, students will quickly learn basic skills and be able to apply Spanish in everyday life.
- Paddle tennis (4 to 16 years old)
Thanks to cooperation with the professional paddle tennis school, students of Mas Camarena International School have the opportunity to train under the guidance of experienced coaches.
- Gymnastics (from 4 to 16 years old)
This specialized course is carried out by professionals with extensive experience in preparing gymnasts: every day they will help students develop the technique of body movements, work with objects, dance team choreography, and get acquainted with ballet performances.
- Volleyball (10 to 16 years old)
The course is held in collaboration with Blu Volley, so that in the first week students will attend technical classes under the guidance of Maria Schlegel, a player of the Spanish national volleyball team. Training is available to students with any initial level of athletic preparation.
- Surfing Skate, Parkour & Climbing (5 to 16 years old)
The summer program offers students to start skate surfing with professionals from the Supskull specialized school, as well as rock climbing and parkour.

A varied course involves sports, creativity, and technical sciences. Every week, students will have field trips timed to coincide with the topics of the past lessons.
- Football (5 to 16 years old)
Students will be able to receive individual supervision from professional specialists of a specialized football school to develop the necessary skills to succeed in this sport.
- Basketball (6 to 16 years old)
In cooperation with the Valencia Basket Club, the school offers professional training with specialists who will help develop the skills of the game, tactics, general physical abilities for playing basketball.
