Maine central institute (MCI) is an independent, private day school in Pittsfield, Maine, which was founded in 1866. A picturesque place near the Atlantic Ocean has to cycling, fishing, sailing. Summer programs

Language immersion (SOLI) takes place at the end of August for foreign students who are new to MCI. Cost - $ 2000.

  • The Bossov Ballet, an intensive summer of the Boss Ballet Theater (BBT), offers comprehensive ballet studying (Vaganova’s method) in English with an emphasis on technique, style, partnership, variations and character. MCI conducts a one-week and five-week program each summer for dance students to help them to improve their skills and participate in a non-professional ballet troupe.
  • Summer Credit Recovery is a three-week program that allows students to do work that they missed or could not do in their main classes during the regular school year.

Accommodation, housing and food

The school is a short drive from nearby world-class colleges and museums, it takes an hour to reach the coast of Maine and the mountains, and Bangor International Airport is just 37 miles from the campus.
