Semester in Singapore

Usually, one class has no more than three students per semester, and the maximum number of people is six. Classes last an hour each, only four hours a day, the number of study days per week is standard: from Monday to Friday. Students study in an intensive format and can take additional individual lessons upon request.
During studies the main emphasis is on the Mandarin dialect of Chinese. Students practice pronunciation with intonations, reading hieroglyphs, and learn to perceive Chinese speech by ear.
