Students attend 20 lessons a week, where they practice grammar and language skills, an additional 10 lessons a week are designed to practice learning skills and "edit" exam options. Upon completing the courses, students can take one of the international language tests.

Intensive 30 Academic English

An intensive English course helps foreigners to work out key skills and prepare for various tests in English. During the week, students attend 30 lessons of 50 minutes each. Students with an intermediate to advanced language level are accepted for studying. Students regularly work on topics in grammar, vocabulary and practice speaking, reading and writing.

One-on-one sessions for executives

The course is designed for students with any initial language level. During the studying, students will improve their language skills, the ability to make presentations during business trips in English and other local nuances on request.

The course has several options, ranging from 5 one-to-one lessons per week to 50. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes.

Courses for children and teenagers

  • Age of students - from 6 to 17 years. 
  • The duration of studying is from 1 to 4 weeks.

Groups of no more than 16-18 children are formed. The standard curriculum includes 20 lessons per week of 50 minutes each. Children with any language level are accepted for studying.

On weekdays, after school, additional activities are held for foreign students, and on weekends, children, together with their companions, go on a whole excursion.

LSI Brighton is a language centre offering English courses and accepting international students from the age of 6. The language center is located in a small town that is filled with youth culture and is home to two successful universities.

LSI Brighton consists of two campuses within a ten-minute walk of each other; today, only LSI Portland Road accepts new students.

The center offers language courses for students with any inintial level: from beginner to advanced C2.

Accommodation, meals, prices

The residence on the LSI Portland Road campus provides students with comfortable rooms for the duration of their studies. In total, the residence has 11 apartment rooms, each of which has up to 13 beds, each studio has a separate bathroom, kitchen and living rooms. The residence has access to a beautiful well-kept garden.

Students can also choose homestay. Each of the host families is selected by LSI Brighton staff and some of the houses are within walking distance of the study campus.

For minor children (13-17 years old), only accommodation with a host family or accommodation with parents in the city is available. Children 6-11 years old can only study at LSI Brighton if they come to the country with their parents who will be staying with them until the end of the course, accommodation for younger children is not arranged.

In their free time, students can also relax on campus, because LSI Brighton has a large garden with areas for picnics, barbecues and outdoor activities. Within walking distance from the campus there are city venues: shops, coffee shops, restaurants and a leisure center.

Students can join the main part of the courses every Monday, some start on the first Mondays of each month. Cambridge English Exam Preparation courses start depending on the inintial language level of the student.
