Summer Camp for Teenagers

The summer program, aimed at schoolchildren aged 11-18, offers a rich schedule, thanks to which each of the pupils will get unforgettable emotions from the holidays in Cyprus. The course includes 20 weekly English lessons, which take place in small groups under the guidance of a qualified native teacher. In the lessons, students focus on improving the general level of linguistics, reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. Teachers use a variety of modern methods, whether it is a board game or discussing their favorite films, to keep students interested in language learning. The academic process is perfectly complemented by several excursions where students practice conversational skills, explore natural beauty and have fun.
The program includes accommodation in a three-star hotel in a full-board format, a daily program of events and round-the-clock support from the center's staff.
Summer Camp: Watersport for Teenagers
- Age – from 13 to 18 years,
- The duration of training is from one week.
The summer course dedicated to water sports provides students with the opportunity to improve their level of English and try their hand at windsurfing, kayaking, diving and other activities. Due to the school's location near the coast, students will have easy access to the beach, qualified instructors and lifeguards, and modern equipment.
The two-week program includes English lessons, which will rapidly improve the main aspects of linguistics: reading and writing skills, the ability to speak and listen. Outside of school hours, students will attend five additional activities: an hour each for SUP boarding, kayaking, diving, wakeboarding or parasailing. Students can also choose the intensive course option, which will add three more sports options to the leisure program.
IELTS for Teenagers
- Age – from 15 to 18 years,
- The duration of training is from one week.
IELTS preparation is provided either as a supplement to any of the courses offered by the center or as a standalone program. The curriculum, which includes 20 lessons, is available to students with a level of B1 and above.
Classes focused on understanding the testing system and the practice of passing modules are held in small groups, thanks to which each student will receive individual attention from the teacher and achieve the desired results.
Summer Camp: Intensive English
- Age – from 12 to 18 years,
- The duration of training is from one week.
The Intensive English Course is suitable for students who would like to immerse themselves in the language environment and focus on improving their skills. The program offers 25 lessons per week in small groups, in which teachers will help develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in accordance with the current level of the group and its goals.
Summer Camp: Yoga for Teenagers
- Age – from 11 to 18 years old,
- The duration of training is from one week.
An exciting yoga program for teens takes place on the center's campus and on the beach, inviting students to focus on developing their physical and emotional well-being. Students will have three classes per week in small groups, which are collected according to a similar level of skills.
Day Summer Camps
- Age - from 7 to 18 years,

Students have access to full-time formats of many of the center's programs that do not provide accommodation:
- Program for children 7-10 years old,
- Program for teenagers 11-18 years old,
- A day program of water sports for students 13-18 years old.
Each course includes 20 weekly English lessons in small groups. Teachers give each student the attention they deserve, providing timely support and tailoring the curriculum to their goals.
In addition to classes, campus and off-site entertainment, daily hot lunch are provided.
General English for Children
- Age - from 7 to 18 years,
- The duration of training is from one week.
The Standard English Language Improvement Program offers 20 weekly classes in which students will practice reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Using interactive and playful methods, teachers help students overcome the language barrier, gain confidence in their abilities and start using English in everyday life. In the latter, children are greatly helped by excursions, during which they communicate with locals, visit sights and entertainment centers.
Courses for Adults
- Age – from 17 years old,
- The duration of training is from one week.
A number of English language improvement courses are available to adult students from the age of 17, including parents of children already studying at the ESSC:
- General English: 20 lessons per week with the possibility of adding five mini-group lessons,
- General English + Entertainment: 20 lessons per week, several half-day excursions,
- Intensive English: 20 lessons per week in the classroom, another 10 in private with the teacher,
- IELTS Preparation: 20 weekly lessons available to students with a level of B1 and above.
Individual Lessons, Individual Lessons

- The duration of training is from 10 lessons.
One-to-one lessons are a great addition to any of the language centre's courses. Thanks to the individual attention of the teacher during one-on-one meetings, students improve their general level of linguistics more intensively, eliminate difficulties and study in more detail the language aspect that they need and are more interested in. The teacher draws up a curriculum for the goals and abilities of the student, thereby providing flexibility and personalization of the educational process.
One-on-one classes are available both in person and online. In the face-to-face format, their number can be 10, 15 or 20 lessons per week, and online - 5, 8, 12 or 20. Distance learning will be cheaper than full-time learning.
Summer English (Child + Parent)

English Sunny School Of Cyprus ESSC opened its doors to students from all over the world in 2000. Its territorial location is very successful: in the hospitable city of Limassol, the district of Yermasoyia, the distance from the school takes just five minutes to the sea coast and the sandy beach. The Valana Hotel Apartments, on the basis of which the school works, is located 4 kilometers from the city center, where are many shops, nightclubs, restaurants and supermarkets. Students in their spare time rest on the beach, go on excursions, walk around the city and go shopping, participate in a variety of games, competitions, parties and discos. Cypriots are very friendly and open people, communication with them will not only help you to find your bearings in the city, but will also help you to find the most interesting and curious places for visiting. Also, communication with local residents is an excellent language practice in a relaxed, natural setting.

All lessons and curricula have been carefully developed by the school's specialists: the focus is on developing spoken language skills, practicing grammar, working on pronunciation, the vocabulary expands. Classes include up to 15 people, and the classrooms are located away from the general areas of the hotel - no one interferes with the students during the studying. One lesson lasts 50 minutes. Registration fee is not charged. Before classes, all students receive a branded beach bag or T-shirt, notebook, pens and a booklet with useful information about Cyprus, and after the end of the program the students receive a corporate certificate.
How are homesickness and emotional well-being addressed among campers?
Our staff members are trained to provide emotional support and create a supportive environment for campers. We have procedures in place to address homesickness and offer activities to help campers feel connected and engaged.

Pupils of Sunny School Of Cyprus ESSC are living in rooms for 3-4 people, each with air conditioning, radio, bathroom and toilet, telephone, balcony with a beautiful view, hairdryer, TV. In addition, the apartments include a kitchen. The rooms are well equipped, cozy and comfortable. Meals are offered on a full board basis (three times a day) on the principle of "buffet" (drinks are not included), students have free constant access to clean drinking water. For the pupils a nutritious, healthy, tasty and varied menu has been developed, in which everyone finds a dish for himself.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
Foreign applicants to any of the courses are required to have a passport, health insurance, visa or residence permit for a long-term stay on the island of Cyprus. There are no special admission criteria, future students take a language test during the enrollment process.
