King's College Latvia — a general education international school for children aged 2 to 18, from the preparatory group to Year 13. Currently, approximately 580 students are enrolled here.

The foundation of education is the modern British system of international education. The school is part of Inspired Education Group and is the only institution of this network in Latvia. King’s College Latvia is also part of King’s Group — an educational organization that has been operating since 1969. The school is accredited by some of the most authoritative educational organizations in the world, including British Schools Overseas and Cambridge International Education, and has received the Wellbeing Award for Schools for its attention to student well-being and support.

At King’s College Latvia, education takes place in three stages, in accordance with the Law on International Schools of Latvia. The programs are recognized by EU countries and include mandatory study of the Latvian language, as required by law.

Children arrive at school at 8:00, classes begin at 8:15. Typically, the school day ends around 15:30, and for Diploma Programme students — up to 16:30. Extracurricular activities may last until 18:00.

At King's College Latvia, students wear school uniforms every day — not only at school, but also on the way there and back. The uniform can be ordered throughout the year through a dedicated online store.

At King's College Latvia, great attention is paid to healthy nutrition. The school has its own kitchen and dining hall where fresh meals are prepared every day: breakfast, a full lunch, and an afternoon snack. Meals are already included in the tuition fee.

The menu is designed in accordance with the recommendations of the Latvian Ministry of Health and the individual needs of children, including allergies, vegetarian or religious diets. Dishes are prepared from fresh seasonal ingredients; no deep-fried food is served.

At King's College Latvia, students have access to 40+ extracurricular activities: from sports and theater to programming, business, and cooking. Among the popular activities are football, swimming, basketball, dancing, music, art, robotics, debate, chess, photography, and science clubs.

The school organizes trips and international programs: children travel around Latvia, to Estonia, Germany, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, and participate in hikes, sports competitions, and Model United Nations conferences.

The campus has excellent sports and creative infrastructure: 2 indoor swimming pools (making it the only international school in Latvia with such facilities), a sports hall, a dance studio, a football field, a running track, a gym, music and art rooms, play areas, and spaces for small group work, psychological support, and individual sessions.

The academic year at King's College Latvia begins at the end of August and ends by mid-June.

At King's College Latvia, admission takes place in several simple steps: first, an application is submitted, after which representatives contact the applicant's family. Next, you can visit the campus or attend an online meeting. For Key Stage 2 and above, students take the CAT4 test and undergo an interview where their English and level of preparation are assessed.

Upon a successful result and availability of places, an offer of admission is issued, and after paying the enrollment fee, the student becomes part of the school.

At King's College Latvia, the results of the Diploma Programme are very successful, with student scores above the world standard: for example, in 2025 the average student score exceeded the global benchmark, and many achieved 38+ points — enough to gain admission to leading universities. The best result was 40, which is considered a rare achievement (with a maximum of 45).

Graduates of the network's schools have for 50+ years gone on to study at prestigious universities around the world, including Ivy League institutions, Russell Group universities, and leading European universities.

Admission to King's College Latvia is structured by age stages and level of preparation. Knowledge of English is not required for younger groups.

• To enter the preparatory group (ages 2–3), the child must turn two before August 31 and visit the school together with parents.
• For primary school (ages 3–5), an introductory tour is conducted, and school records are requested if available.
• At the 5–7 age stage, basic reading and writing skills in English are assessed, and sometimes previous report cards as well.
• At ages 7–11, tests in mathematics, reading, writing, and reasoning (CAT4) are added, along with an analysis of academic performance over 2 years. If necessary, students take an English as an Additional Language course, which is paid for separately.
• For Key Stage 3 (ages 11–14), confident reading and writing in English, CAT4 results, and school report cards are required.
• For Key Stage 4 (ages 14–16) — entrance tests in core subjects and (I)GCSE for applicants entering Year 11.
• The Diploma Programme (IBDP) (ages 16–18) includes an interview. For Year 12, a minimum of 5 (I)GCSE exams are required, including English and Mathematics, with good grades, and confirmation of academic results from recent years. Admission to Year 13 is considered on an individual basis.

At King's College Latvia, academic scholarships are available for high-achieving students from Latvia who are studying in grades 9–10 of the state system.

Scholarship recipients enroll in the Diploma Programme in grade 12, which corresponds to grade 10 in the Latvian system. Selection is based on academic results and potential: achievements, abilities, and predicted learning outcomes are taken into account. The scholarship may cover up to 100% of the cost.
