Liddington camp, like the rest of the PGL network, accepts children from all over the world, although about 90% of holidaymakers are traditionally British. The summer entertainment program does not provide for English lessons: language skills are taught unobtrusively, in a free, friendly environment during games, competitions, sports or crafts.
The multi-activity program is classical: these are diverse and interesting classes for those students who want to try everything at once. The program includes team games, trampoline jumping, archery or rifles, fencing, rock climbing, cycling, orienteering, rope running, etc. Multiactivities can form the basis of the course, and serve as an addition to any other program - in any case, the course will not allow children to get bored.
Description of Summer camp PGL Liddington
Summer camp Liddington is one of the newest establishments of the network - it was built in 2010 and is significantly different from the rest. The number of entertainments, variations in sports and outdoor activities in the British camp is so great that it takes at least a week to try them all!
Age of participants: 7-16 years (students are divided into groups according to the age principle).
Educational process
Each Cooks Academy session follows a different daily theme, such as Spanish or French cuisine. Children learn basic cooking skills, try new recipes, and take part in active outdoor sessions.
In the pony programs, participants learn to ride safely, care for their ponies, maintain their balance, use proper posture, and control the reins.
Qualified instructors lead the watersports sessions. Before going out on the water, children receive a safety briefing and remain under close supervision.
Liddington staff receive full training, undergo enhanced DBS checks, and are continually assessed. They are trained to support children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Liddington offers two types of adventure camp:
Multi-Activity Adventure Camps
These camps last 2, 3, 4, or 7 nights and run during Easter, May half-term, summer, and October half-term holidays. Activities include adventurous challenges, water sports, team-building, problem-solving, and evening entertainment.
Specialist Adventure Camps
Seven-night specialist camps run during the summer holidays and combine a chosen activity with the main multi-activity program:
- Aqua Explorer: watersports including Giant SUP, Raft Building, and Dragon Boating,
- Cooks Academy: cooking sessions with expert mentors and international cuisines,
- Learner Driver: driving experience and driving-theory practice,
- Pony Improver: riding lessons in dressage, show jumping, and cross-country schooling at a partner center near the Cotswolds.

Accommodation, meals, prices
The camp's main building originally operated as a 4-star hotel before being converted into a children's center. Participants stay in comfortable bedrooms for 2-4 people with all amenities.
The main building has modern rooms for up to six children, each with an en suite bathroom. Rooms in King Edward's House accommodate 5-8 children, while rooms in The Ridgeway and The Stables sleep 4-6. Every room in these buildings has an en suite bathroom. A night support team is available at the center throughout the night.
Meals are nutritious, healthy, and balanced, with dietary options available. Main meals are served buffet-style, with no limit on portions. Children always have access to fresh drinking water, vegetables, and fruit, and they can have tea or coffee. The center accommodates cultural, religious, and medical dietary requirements, including celiac disease, diabetes, food allergies, vegetarian diets, and vegan diets.

The program includes talent shows, campfire gatherings, competitions, and other evening activities.
- Aqua Explorer includes Aqua Parks, Sailing, Wakeboarding, Giant SUP, Raft Building, and Dragon Boating,
- the watersports camp program includes a full day of Sailing and Windsurfing at The Real Outdoor Xperience, with buoyancy aids, wetsuits, and helmets provided to participants,
- pony camps also include ziplining, archery, and canoeing,
- the watersports camp's evening program includes quizzes, games, and discos.

PGL holds more than 15 governing-body and safety accreditations and voluntarily undergoes Ofsted inspections. The center is registered with the British Activity Providers Association (BAPA). Its safety approach has five elements:

- Safe Spaces: attention to special educational needs and disabilities, accessibility, and inclusion,

The camp package covers accommodation, food and drinks, activities, and equipment. Children are grouped by age. Overlapping age ranges give parents a choice of groups when their child is near a group’s upper or lower age limit.
Facilities and equipment at Summer camp PGL Liddington
The campus covers 150 hectares and includes residential and administrative buildings, playgrounds, playing fields, wooded areas, and lakes.
The center stands on the ancient Ridgeway track near the edge of the North Wessex Downs, just minutes from the M4.
Facilities include an Indoor Activity Zone, a shop, vending machines, a drying room, Wi-Fi, sports pitches and courts, table tennis, a sports hall, and parking. The buildings are risk-assessed, and the center has separate accommodation areas, a secure perimeter, and strict equipment standards.
Admission dates and extra charges
The camp price does not include:

- Transport to the camp, available on request, including an escorted travel service,
- Medical insurance, including the PGL insurance option,
- Bed linen rental when campers do not bring their own.
Children may need a small amount of spending money for snacks on excursions and souvenirs from the on-site gift shop. The center holds and distributes spending money securely according to parents’ instructions.
