Description Humboldt Institut Meersburg Summer Camp

  • Language of instruction: German
  • Location: Meersburg, Germany
  • Students age: 15 to 18 years
  • Educational programs: intensive course of German language
  • Dates: from June 26 to August 6.
  • Type of accommodation: residence or family.

Humboldt-Institut is an excellent, balanced program for learning German for students of any age: from schoolchildren to adults. Since the courses are held in different cities of Germany, the student can choose for himself the most comfortable place: the capital city of Berlin, the lively metropolis, the calm province, the historic town. Also, such a scheme opens up ample opportunities for travel and excursions, giving for the international students an opportunity to get acquainted with German culture and history, samples of art and architecture.

The Humboldt-Institut Meersburg will be an ideal choice for those who appreciate the beauty of nature, peace, tranquility and want to fully concentrate on learning. This small, cozy city is located near the Alpine mountains, so almost every point of it opens an impressive view of the mountain peaks. The population is just over 5000 people - these are unusually hospitable, friendly people, ready to meet students from all over the world as members of their family. At the same time, the city has ample opportunities for leisure and recreation. The key attraction is usually considered to be the ancient fortress (it is more than 1400 years!), in honour of which the city was named: it has survived to this day and serves as an object of interest for thousands of tourists.

Every day students do homework, and weekly they write a final test, which shows the level of academic achievement and mastery of the material.

Educational staff do a great job for effective learning of students:

The main attention is paid to developing speech, communication skills, improving pronunciation and expanding vocabulary.
