Summer Course: Fashion, Design, Mobility & Culinary Art

- The studying period is seven days.
Focusing on Fashion, Design, Culinary Arts, and Mobility, the summer program offers students a packed one-week curriculum. Almost every day, students will enjoy excursions, master classes by qualified industry specialists, and a variety of evening leisure activities on campus. The course week includes:
- 15 hours of master classes, where students will learn more about fashion and design, communicate with eminent designers, entrepreneurs,
- Five excursions with visits to the sights of Milan, Northern Italy,
- Accommodation in a comfortable hotel, full board,
- Leisure activities focused on communication between students and discussion of the emotions received.
Being under the guidance of experienced specialists, students will receive not only extensive knowledge about the fashion industry, but also see with their own eyes how clothes of leading brands are produced, some of the most powerful and expensive cars are assembled at the plant.

Global Swiss Academy Summer Camp in Italy (GSWISS Italy) offers a week-long program in fashion, design and culinary arts to school graduates, students in grades 9-10 planning to enter universities and colleges.
The main advantage of studying at the GSWISS Italy Summer Center is the study of fashion and design in the world center of these fields. Italy is famous for its fashion houses, high-quality clothing production and unique talents in the field of design, and Milan is the capital that annually attracts international specialists to shows and exhibitions of the fashion industry. Under the guidance of qualified teachers, students will visit the iconic sights of the city, participate in master classes from the leading masters of the region, and will be able to get acquainted with students of different nationalities. The center is in demand among foreign students, dozens of students from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East participate in the courses.
Accommodation, meals, prices
Students are accommodated in double rooms or apartments equipped with an en suite bathroom, TV, free high-speed Wi-Fi and fully furnished.
Students are provided with meals on a full board basis - daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, both at the place of classes and during excursions.

- The main fashion district of Milan is the Quadrilatero della Moda,
- Visits to boutiques, fashion houses, Giorgio Armani/Silos exhibition,
- Tour of the industrial design studio,
- Participation in master classes from eminent designers,
- Tour of the Ferrari factory complex, visit to the Fiorano race track,
- Tour of the Parmigiano Reggiano cheese factory, the production of Prosciutto di Parma ham.
Excursions take place almost every day during the week of studying. In the evenings, students can enjoy a variety of activities in and out of the hotel: from dinner of national dishes, walks to restaurants to shopping, friendly communication with classmates and teachers.

The studying is organized in a four-star hotel near the center of Milan; The building has classrooms for seminars, living quarters, a swimming pool, a spacious garden.
Admission dates and extra charges
The summer course takes place in the first half of July, the duration of studying is one week. Every day, students will have a busy schedule with master classes, seminars and excursions.
The price includes:
- 15 hours of academic activities,
- Five excursions in Milan and Northern Italy,
- Accommodation in a double room or apartment for six nights,
- Food for all seven days,
- CPD Certified Course Completion Certificate,
- Pick-up and drop-off at Milan airport, ground transport and entrance fees.
In addition, students will have to pay for medical insurance, some additional extracurricular activities (optional), personal expenses during trips.

Upon completing the course, each student receives a graduation certificate confirming the knowledge gained.
Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
Those wishing to participate in the summer course must have a passport, health insurance, visa or residence permit. Students of the 9th, 10th and senior grades are accepted for studying. Since communication during the stay in the camp takes place in English, the future student must have a sufficient level of proficiency (recommended from B2).
