Fachhochschule Technikum Wien - Austria's first university of applied sciences was founded as an institution of secondary vocational education, and in 2001 received university status. The specialization of UAS Technikum Wien is technology: the emphasis is on the graduation of engineering specialists who are completely ready to work in production.

The university campus is located in the 20th district of Vienna, next to it are public transport stops. Well-equipped classrooms, computer labs, laboratories are located in a new modern building, where all safety measures for the health of students are taken.
University students are offered a choice of more than 10 hostels, which are located near the UAS Technikum Wien. Comfortable, bright rooms, fully furnished, including kitchen and bathroom.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
1. Results of the Austrian high school final exams / certificate of certification for professional certification
2. In the absence of Austrian diplomas - a foreign certificate that has passed nostrification (confirmation of compliance of the training content with the Austrian analogue) or a certificate of completion of at least 3 years in a recognized Austrian or foreign university
3. Certificate of English or German at B2 level (applicants who graduated from a school or university in the language of instruction are exempt from providing the certificate)
4. For admission to a master’s degree, a bachelor’s diploma at a recognized Austrian or foreign educational institution is provided
5. All documents must be translated into German or English and officially certified.
If the nostrification has not passed completely, but the training in the main volume coincides, the university administration can accept the applicant with the condition of passing additional exams.
