Embassy oxford summer

Embassy Oxford Summer offers 2-week summer shifts with learning English. Stays include 2 walks in Oxford, 2 half-day trips to nearby cities, sightseeing, 2 full-day trips to other cities - London, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cambridge. Transport for trips can be private or public. Lessons are held in the morning or afternoon at week 1, after which the schedule alternates.

Day Programme

The school provides the opportunity to visit the campus only during the day. Students will attend academic classes, field trips, and activities, and then go home. This training option is available in different durations: from one week during the dates of the program. The beginning of classes, that is, the admission of new students, is every Monday.

The cost of day programs includes all services, except for accommodation and full board: language classes and educational material, lunches, excursions and themed entertainment on campus, a graduate certificate.

Studying in one of the world-famous university cities in the UK will make students feel like real researchers, because the campuses of leading universities and students studying on them create an atmosphere of an exciting and academically challenging educational path.

Day programs offer students from 12 to 17 years old:

  • 20 weekly English lessons of 45 minutes,
  • International classes up to 17 people,
  • Friendly, experienced teachers,
  • Teaching in modern classrooms of John Henry Brooks and Gibbs buildings with interactive whiteboards,
  • Themed entertainment on campus,
  • Field trips where students will be able to explore London, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle.

Students are assigned to classes according to the results of the English language proficiency test. The course material is adapted to the initial knowledge, thereby effectively helping students develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. The basis of the program is communication - the constant practice of the knowledge gained through communication. Children will develop confidence in the use of English in everyday life by discussing personal interests and exciting topics in the classroom with teachers.

Thanks to universities, the city has an international atmosphere that attracts students from all over the world. The language center is located on the Headington campus of Oxford Brookes University: it combines old and modern buildings, is located in a large area with open spaces within walking distance of the city center.

Embassy Oxford offers students high-quality educational summer language programs, interesting excursions, a rich leisure program on campus.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Embassy Oxford offers students accommodation in apartments for 5-6 people, located in several residential buildings on the Headington campus. Each building has communal kitchen areas, the rooms are equipped with furniture (wardrobe, desk, chair). Housekeeping, linen is changed weekly, bathrooms and common areas are cleaned every other day. Laundry is available in each building for a small fee. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus.

Meals are provided in the self-service dining room:

  • Depending on the day, breakfast includes hot dishes and a continental menu.
  • Lunch, dinner - 2 menus, 3 options for dishes, including vegetarian and halal.
  • Packed lunches are available on weekends: water, fruits, a sandwich, chips, cookies / cake.
  • Snacks - There are several shops on the campus where students can buy snacks, pastries, drinks.

Events are organized in the evenings and after classes, held on-site or near the center. Classes include:
