Dominican University of California English Language School is the ELS language center of Dominican University, which in turn is the only four-year private university in Marin County.
ELS courses teach fundamental english skills in small groups divided by level of expertise. Having successfully completed the last level - 112, the student gets the opportunity to enter the Dominican University or the nearest colleges, partner universities of ELS. THE FASTEST ELS Program: 30 lessons per week of 50 minutes. Classes are held in groups of 15-20 people, recruited depending on language skills. Students are divided into four groups: from "beginners" to "masters". Every four weeks, a test is taken to assimilate the knowledge gained, which allows the student to move to the next level.
Semi-Intensive English Course

The course of semi-intensive study is distinguished by its measuredness - classes are held in the first half of the day with fewer of them than in the intensive course. The number of lessons per week does not exceed 20, classes are organized for 15 people. In the classroom, students, divided into groups depending on knowledge, study the basic blocks: reading, writing, communication, vocabulary replenishment.
TOEFL Preparation
TOEFL is one of the most popular language tests in the United States. ELS prepares foreign students who plan to study at American universities or colleges.
IELTS Preparation

- Student residence outside the campus: the residential building is located in a quiet area of the city, the road to the center will take about five minutes on a free shuttle.
