Without an IELTS certificate, you can not go to a British college or university, so preparing for it should be effective, progressive and of high quality.
Students of summer courses will learn specific academic skills that will be useful for them in further education in Britain, as well as significantly improve their language level by improving all the basic language abilities and skills. A unique summer course is designed for teenagers aged 16-18 who are interested in medicine and who plan to study at medical faculties of well-known universities.
Classes on profile topics are very diverse, and the curriculum is carefully balanced. Students will study the basics of building a career in the medical field, examine the most famous medical schools in the UK and the differences between the faculties of Oxford and Cambridge, get acquainted with the tasks of profile testing of BMAT or UKCAT. At the master classes and practical classes in the laboratories, students will learn to take blood tests and check physiological reactions, to work with various medical instruments under the close supervision of an experienced mentor.
In their free time, students have ample opportunities for active recreation and entertainment. The successful passing of the SAT exam is a prerequisite for admission to American universities and higher schools, and even British institutions, allowing students of 16-18 years of age to qualitatively and effectively prepare for this testing. An intensive two-week course will improve all the necessary knowledge and skills, will acquaint you with the structure of the exam and will provide an opportunity to practice real versions of the past years under the guidance of experienced, qualified teachers.
Preparation for the SAT test is conducted in all directions:
Morning classes include up to 15 people, after-dinner classes - up to 10 students. The intensity of the lessons starts from 20 hours weekly (up to 40). Teachers practice an individual approach and, if necessary, can quickly adjust the educational course in order to increase its effectiveness for each student. At the beginning and end of the program, students undergo SAT testing, similar to the present: so they can visually see their progress. At the end of the course, students will also receive a solemn ceremony of awarding, handing out personal certificates indicating personal achievements and successes.
This program will introduce high-school students to the field of robotics, help to get an idea of what sciences and technical innovations are the basis of modern robotics. Students will devote time to design and development.
The course uses a practical approach to explain the key concepts of designing and programming autonomous robots. Young people will work with Arduino robot kits, program in Arduino and C ++. To participate in the curriculum, students will not need any knowledge, only confident knowledge of English.

The course for high school students on creating applications for the iOS system and websites will allow them to gain key skills in this area in order to successfully apply them in life. At the program, students will become acquainted with the areas of computer programming and mobile application development, while studying the sciences that underlie these processes. The course is based on a practical approach, so young people will be able to try everything themselves.
Students will learn how to design an application and prototype interface with Sketch. Then they will get an introduction to working with Xcode, dive into the integrated development environment (IDE) for MacOS, and try programming using the object-oriented Swift language.
For successful study, students need to have a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro series of laptops with the installed software: MacOS High Sierra and the Apple IDE tool - Xcode 11.

An intensive film production program at the Balliol College Summer School is offered for high school students from 16 to 18 years old. For two weeks, participants in the course will study the process of film production at all stages from the idea to creating a movie: students will learn how to plan, to make a storyboard, script, and then shoot and edit short films or full films.
Young people will learn the art of film production under the guidance of experienced teachers. Following the tips, students will learn how to use standard HD video equipment, lighting, microphones and monitors. To participate in the program, students do not need to have any special video shooting experience, they have sufficient confidence in English.
