English+Football Camp, English + Football Camp

  • Age - from 9 to 15 years,
  • The duration of training is one week.

The English + Football Camp summer course has two formats: general and only for girls. It aims to improve your English language skills and gain new skills in football. The program includes weekly:

  • 15 hours of language lessons,
  • 15 hours of training under the guidance of professionals,
  • Daily activities on campus,
  • Several field trips.

Language classes will help students improve speaking skills, listening and pronunciation, knowledge of grammar and vocabulary, reading and writing. Teachers create an informal atmosphere in which educational material is remembered through communication between students: communication, discussions, debates, joint projects and much more contribute to more effective learning and strengthen interest in learning.

Workouts include coverage of topics such as:

  • Study of the scheme of the game and tactics,
  • Training in dribbling, counterattacks, passing and defense.

Sports teachers have many years of experience and career, skills of modern teaching of children. Thanks to the qualifications, the teacher finds an individual approach to each pupil, helps to learn how to work in a team and carefully controls physical activity.

Exsportise Ardingly Summer Camp organizes residential summer courses on the campus of Ardingly College. The study area is a boarding school with the opportunity to attend classes only during the daytime, without staying in the residence. It provides excellent conditions for studying, relaxing and getting an amazing experience of living in the UK.

The main focus of summer programs is football. Boys and girls from 9 to 14 years old have the opportunity to try a new sport for themselves, improve their existing skills and get recommendations from professional coaches, and have fun during the summer holidays.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Boys and girls are accommodated in separate boarding houses. The residential buildings consist of double and quadruple bedrooms with shared bathrooms, a large living room with a TV, board games.

Residents are provided with à la carte meals, which include English and international cuisine. Lunches and dinners are two hot dishes to choose from, salads and drinks, and for breakfast pastries, egg and milk dishes, fruits and vegetables, desserts are always served. If a student has dietary, religious, or medical dietary restrictions, a team of chefs will provide an alternative menu.

Activities Ardingly Summer Camp

After a busy school week, students are offered a variety of recreation, the main type of which is excursions on weekends. On Saturdays and Sundays, students can choose one of two trips offered by staff. The most popular excursions are trips to theme parks, where students spend a fantastic day full of roller coaster fun relaxing and enjoying socializing with their friends. On another day, groups of students visit an interesting city or village located near the campus. Students will be shown sights, given the opportunity to shop in local stores.

Since the basis of education in summer programs is football, one of the excursions will be a visit to the Emirates stadium, which is considered the home of the Arsenal football club. Registration procedure for summer programs:

  • Filling out an online form and submitting documents,
  • Receiving an invitation from the admissions staff,
  • Payment of the deposit,
  • Visiting the campus and passing the entrance test,
  • Distribution by classes and the beginning of education.

Perspectives

Each graduate receives a certificate, which contains a report from teachers and basic data about the course taken: the number of lessons, the level of knowledge gained and a recommendation from the teacher.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

Students arriving from other countries are required to provide personal documents:

  • Health insurance and vaccination certificate,
  • Visa or residence permit in the UK.

The level of English for admission is not important, since on the first day of arrival on campus, applicants pass an entrance test.
