In the sixth and final year of study (Upper 6), students must choose to study at least three subjects to obtain an A-level. In the final class, the educational emphasis shifts from studying in a group to self-study - during this time, students work on research projects.

For students who choose full-board tuition (i.e. accommodation), a 3-story Victorian-style residence is offered on the Albyn School campus. There is a living room, a winter garden.
