Educational activities are carried out in 8 educational buildings equipped with lecture-type classrooms, halls for practical classes, laboratories, rooms for independent work and practical education. Equipment of special rooms and rooms for independent work: video panels, projector, TV, laboratory, spirometer, tuning fork, Foster perimeter, microscope, tonometer, medical phonendoscope, Goryaev camera, etc.

Students are given free access to scientific libraries for 104 seats in total.

At YSMU, the learning process is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each of them, an examination session is held, after passing the students, they are given vacations (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).

For admission to bachelor's and specialist's educational programs, an applicant must:

  • Completed education is not lower than secondary general;
  • Points received for the exam are not lower than:
    • History — 32;
    • Social Studies — 42;
    • Biology — 36-45; 
    • chemistry — 37-45;
    • Mathematics — 30;
    • Russian — 37-40.

Admission to the magistracy at YSMU is not conducted.

For admission to residency programs, you must:

  • Completed higher education;
  • Successful completion of the entrance test (testing) - at least 70 points.

For admission to postgraduate programs, you must:

  • Completed higher education;
  • Successful completion of the entrance test - a special discipline - is not lower than 70 points.
