The Ivy League Experience

  • Age: 13-18 years old
  • Dates: June 28-July 11, July 12-25
  • Duration: 2-4 weeks.

An educational course in which students choose to study two subjects to their taste - the main discipline and the "secondary". This is an academic program for 2 weeks, and if students want to extend their studies to 4 weeks, they will already be asked to choose two main subjects and two additional ones.

The first includes classical academic subjects, and the number of additional subjects includes classes where you can get additional skills: leadership, the art of presentation, teamwork and so on. This format of study will help foreign students feel like a university student in the United States - training at an American university takes place in a similar pattern.

Classes in core subjects take place in the morning and include all the traditional educational formats: studying in a class of up to 15 people, interactive lessons, discussions with other students. Thus, young people will be able to get different points of view on the discussion of one issue and learn how to defend their own.

Classes of an additional level are to a greater extent based on obtaining personal skills - work here takes place individually or in small groups. In these classes, students will work on key attributes of training and employment: presentation skills, leadership skills, teamwork, creative thinking and an objective assessment of potential solutions.

The main disciplines:

  • Creative writing
  • Journalism
  • Medical biology
  • Engineering
  • Law and jurisprudence.

Additional:

  • Business challenge
  • Public speaking and leadership
  • Drama
  • Cinema.
