Development does not stand still: living conditions are becoming more comfortable. But how comfortable is the life of left-handers? It turns out that we often forget about their convenience ...
For some reason, many people are ammathed when they see someone writing with their left hand as if it were something supernatural. Now most people are more developed and tolerant, but literally in the last century, a teacher could beat a child on the arm so that he wrote with his right. For some reason, sometimes there was a perception that writing with the left was a sin. If you delve into this topic, you can learn a lot of amazing things.
- For example, only for right-handers created chairs combined with desks: usually the table is attached to the right side.
- The same applies to scissors: using them, the left-hander experiences pain, and the scissors themselves do not cut well, since the "legs" are constantly separated.
- The cooking process can also be difficult if you are left-handed. There are plenty of pots with a spout to drain the sauce. Such a spout is placed on a side that is uncomfortable for a left-hander. And mugs: the image on them is visible only if you hold it in your right hand. The divisions on the measuring bowl are arranged so that they can be seen when you hold the container in your right hand. Therefore, those who use the left, have to read them in reverse order.
- In addition, the left-hander should think in advance where to sit at the table, so as not to push his elbows with those sitting nearby.
- Office jobs and many others are provided in such a way that you can lean your elbow only on the right (when busy with something important). Devices that punch the employee's card are also intended for right-right people.
- Today it is less relevant, of course, since we use pens, but still: a left-hander, when writing something, unwittingly leans his brush on what has already been written, which is why the palms and pages are stained with ink. Even now, not all pens are suitable for them, but still ballpoint pens, as a rule, help.
- ATMs, terminals are designed for the right hand: please note that we insert the card on the right. For left-handers, this is less convenient, and some terminals make them sweat a lot.
- Filling the papers with a desk pen, left-handers again face a problem: the length of the spring is not enough for them. Unfair and imprudent!
Often we use the expression "clockwise" (or "against"), but for a left-hander this is difficult, since the rotation to the left seems more natural to him.
