Voronezh Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia

The Institute was founded in 1979 in the city of Voronezh. The only university that educates private security specialists.

The learning process includes a course of lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory classes and professional practice.

The educational process is organized at the following faculties:

• Radio engineering
• Juridical
• Advanced education,
• Distance learning,

The university conducts research activities within the framework of two scientific schools:

• Efficiency of functioning, survivability and information security of information and telecommunication systems in the context of information conflict,
• Mathematical modeling and numerical methods for research and optimization of critical application systems.

The university provides nonresident full-time students with 3 dormitories for 635 places.

For meals for students and staff, the university has two canteens for a total of 400 seats.

To involve cadets in social and scientific activities, the university organizes and takes part in the following events:

The educational process takes place in three educational buildings, equipped with classrooms for lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory classes. The classrooms are equipped with equipment: screens, projectors, computers and interactive whiteboards.

Cadets are given free access to the scientific and educational library of the institute.

For sports, the VI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has a wide-profile stadium with an obstacle course and a football field.

In the VI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the academic year, cadets are allocated two leaves: winter and summer. Cadets are fully supported by the state: housing, food and medical care.

For admission to the VI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, you must provide:

• Military registration document,
• Employment record book (if any),
• INN
• Characteristics from the place of study (work),
• Birth certificate,
• State-recognized certificate of education and qualifications,
• Confirmation of registration in the system of individual (personalized) accounting (if any).

If necessary, the applicant also provides:

• Proof of use of the right to admission within a special quota,
• Confirmation of individual achievements, the results of which are taken into account at admission,
• Proof of disability or disability.
• Photos for documents (9x12 — 1 pc., 3x4 — 3 pcs.).

The necessary package of documents is provided to the university:

In 2023, the number of places for admission is 480. 

After completing their studies at the institute, graduates become qualified specialists, realize themselves in the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

For admission to bachelor's and specialist's educational programs, an applicant must:

• Completed education not lower than secondary general,
• Points for physical education not lower than 36,
• Points received for the exam are not lower than:
  • Mathematics — 27,
  • Russian language — 36,
  • Social Studies — 42.

For admission to postgraduate programs, you must:

• Completed higher education,
• Successful completion of entrance examinations with scores not lower than the threshold set by the institute itself:
  • Special discipline,
  • Philosophy
  • Foreign language.

Cadets are paid a monetary allowance, the amount of which depends on the academic performance, conscientiousness and activity of the student.

When leaving for summer leave, students are paid financial assistance.
