Accommodation, meals, prices
Three student dormitories are assigned to the university on the right of operational management.
- Hostel No. 2 is a five-storey corridor-type building for 347 seats, equipped with showers, there is a room for self-preparation, a room for washing clothes with washing machines, two dance halls, a buffet, a medical center.
- Hostel NoZ - a nine-storey building of sectional type for 342 seats, equipped with showers, rooms for washing and drying clothes; there is a reading room, a library and a buffet.
- Hostel No. 5 is a thirteen-storey building of sectional type for 896 persons. One floor accommodates 18 residential blocks, in each block there are 2 rooms for 2 people each, a bathroom, a bathroom and an entrance hall. On each floor there is a laundry room, a recreation room, a room for self-preparation, kitchens. The hostel is equipped with a chess hall, a hall for playing table tennis, there is a library, a medical center.
Dormitories are provided with the necessary furniture, soft equipment and bed linen. Entrance to the dormitories is carried out by electronic passes-cards.
In 2003, a food processing plant was created at USLU, providing a wide range and good meals to 2.5 thousand students, teachers and staff, support for mass events. It consists of:
- dining room No1 hall for 200 seats, hall for teachers and staff, student café;
- dining room No. 2 of 2 halls for 100 seats and a hall for teachers and staff;
- buffet in the main educational building;
- cafeteria in the educational building No2;

Currently, there are 7 student associations in USLU:

The educational process is conducted in three educational buildings with a total area of 20,209.7 sq.m. + rented premises.
- In the main educational building, located at Komsomolskaya, 21, there are 16 seminar and 3 lecture halls, an assembly and sports hall, a library, reading rooms (including electronic), administrative premises. Forensic polygons are equipped for teaching the disciplines of the criminal law cycle.
- In the educational building No. 3, located on Komsomolskaya Street, 23 and connected to the main educational building by a warm passage, there are 26 classrooms, 4 computer classes, a reading room, a magazine fund, two sports halls, administrative premises.
- In the educational building No. 2, located on Kolmogorova Street, 54, there are 26 seminar and 4 lecture halls, 3 computer classes, a class of free Internet access, a library, a reading room, an electronic reading room, an archive, a sports hall, administrative auxiliary premises. Forensic training grounds and a photo laboratory are equipped to conduct the disciplines of the criminal law cycle.
All lecture halls are equipped with a PC for the teacher, a projector, a large screen, a speaker system. At the disposal of lecturers are multimedia departments. For specific seminars and extracurricular activities, portable multimedia equipment is available.
For the development of practical skills, in-depth study of disciplines, practice, specialized classrooms, halls and training grounds are equipped.
For sports, the university has the following facilities:
- a sports hall in the main educational building for playing sports, holding various competitions;
- two gyms in the educational building No. 3 for fitness and strength training;
- an open sports ground next to the hostel No. 2 for playing sports;
- a sports hall in the educational building No. 2 for martial arts and bodybuilding, and on the adjacent territory there is an open area for playing sports;
- sports ground next to the hostel No. 5 for playing basketball, volleyball with elements of an obstacle course;
- The sports and recreation complex on Kolmogorova Street, p. 52a is a two-storey building, on the first floor of which there is a sports hall for team sports with double lighting, inventory, showers with locker rooms for 30 people, a wardrobe, a lobby, a coaching room, bathrooms, on the second floor there is a gym, a wrestling hall, a boxing hall, a medical office with an equipped place for massage.
For students and employees of USSLU, the university has a health center equipped with all the necessary equipment to provide emergency, preventive and health care.
To ensure the current activities of the university, 17 machines are used. The USUU provides access and intra-facility mode. Physical security is carried out by LLC CHOP "Brigade". In each building of the university there are panic buttons for calling the rapid response team.
A single control room has been created at USLU, which unites all the systems included in the integrated security system of the university.

The educational process at the university is organized by academic years (courses) and semesters (autumn and spring).
