The University of West Indies at St Augustine (UWI) is one of the five campuses of the University of the West Indies system. The university was founded on the basis of the Imperial College of Tropical Agriculture in 1960.  It is the only campus in the system to have a Faculty of Food and Agriculture, an area of expertise that has gone down in the history of the Caribbean islands.

UWI does not have an age limit requirement, except for undergraduate and surgery programs – applicants must be over 18 years old.

Requirements for certificates of knowledge of english for foreign students:

  • TOEFL (500 for paper test/20-22 for electronic test)
  • IELTS (from 6.5)
  • Mandatory ELPT entrance test.

Documents for admission to the bachelor's degree:
