University of Galway (Galway & Dublin) Summer Camp — an international summer camp offering a seasonal English language learning program. The course is designed for students with any level of skill, from 10 to 20 years old.

Educational process is organized on the campus of one of Ireland's most popular universities — University of Galway. Its infrastructure is used not only for conducting English lessons but also for various leisure activities that await students in their free time. The educational course provides comfortable accommodation in a university residence and a number of exciting excursions to see the sights of the region. These and other advantages of the summer camp will allow foreign students to gain valuable academic experience, improve their level of English, meet and make friends with representatives of different nationalities and countries.

The summer program is built on a communicative approach to learning English. Classes take place in the morning and cover all core language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Upon arrival, students are placed into groups at the appropriate level based on their placement test results.

University of Galway actively uses blended learning formats combining independent work, in-person classes, and online activities. 80% of the university's full-format program courses include an internship and/or the opportunity to study abroad — an experience that shapes the summer camp environment. Students can choose the accommodation format:

Students live in the university residence, which has everything necessary for comfortable living: from bathrooms, excellent room furnishings and cleaning services to common relaxation areas, a cafeteria and other premises. Employees who provide any 24/7 support also live nearby.

The summer program offers students not only intensive language improvement but also exploration of attractions, study of the country's culture and customs, entertainment activities for getting to know classmates and acquiring new skills. Outside of class hours, students can expect daytime and evening events on campus: themed games, culinary and creative workshops, sports activities, parties, talent shows and much more. Educational staff organize excursions weekly — the program curriculum includes three full-day trips and four tours lasting several hours (half day).

Foreign students can visit different places like:

Excursions lasting several hours is represented by:

The educational course includes the opportunity to spend three days in Dublin during education or at the end of the program: a mini-tour will provide education on university campus, accommodation in residence and visiting local attractions.

The summer program is organized on the educational grounds of University of Galway, which is located on the riverbank, just a few minutes from the center of Galway. The city — is a vibrant place, popular with locals and tourists alike. The infrastructure allows students to acquire not only valuable knowledge but also to devote time to creative and sporting hobbies. Spacious classrooms, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, specialized studios, relaxation areas and much more are available to pupils of the summer course.

The educational course runs from the end of June to mid-August, has several start dates and the opportunity to choose a suitable study duration — 2-3 weeks. The schedule consists of morning English lessons, daytime and evening entertainment activities, and excursions.

Accommodation and meals, educational materials, campus events, and several excursions are already included in the cost. Additionally, you will need to pay for air flights, medical insurance, administrative fees and deposits, and personal expenses.

Applicants need to fill out a registration form, submit documents and take an online test to determine their current level of English proficiency. Upon arrival on campus, they are assigned to groups based on the testing results and begin their studies.

During the learning process, students take small tests that track their progress in developing skills. A graduation certificate, which all students receive, confirms their efforts and clearly demonstrates improvement in language proficiency.

The course is designed for students of any English level, aged 10-20 years old, who have a foreign passport, medical insurance, a visa or a residence permit.
