For 2 weeks, negotiations were held to open borders between the EU countries and states that are considered safe in terms of the epidemiological situation: the number of infected, trends, the number of coronavirus tests performed, the level of contact tracing, etc.
The list includes:
- Algeria
- Australia
- Canada
- Georgia
- Japan
- Montenegro
- Morocco
- New Zealand
- Rwanda
- Serbia
- South Korea
- Thailand
- Tunisia
- Uruguay
- China (in case the country also opens its borders - "mutual" principle).
This list may change if the situation improves elsewhere. The decision of the European Union is a recommendation, and to open the borders or it is not yet time - such a decision will be made within each state separately.
