Student homestays

Living with a host family is a popular choice that provides the additional benefit of practicing English outside the classroom. Homestay options are available across London Zones 2 to 5, with self-catering, bed and breakfast, and half-board meal plans. All homestay hosts are selected and supported by partners accredited by the British Council. Students can choose between single and shared rooms.

Student residences and studios

For students who prefer greater independence, the school offers student residences and private studios. Residences offer privacy and the freedom to choose mealtimes. Availability varies throughout the year, so early booking is recommended.

The English Studio accepts students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Admission requirements vary by program:

• A valid passport,
• A completed online application form,
• A UK student visa, if required based on nationality and course duration,
• Age 8 to 17 for Young Learner programs,
• A strong command of English for TESOL Teacher Training, although applicants do not need to be native speakers.

New students complete a placement test upon enrollment so that they can join a class at the appropriate level. The school offers a free online English test that prospective students can use to assess their current level before applying.
