LSC Stanton offers three summer schools for learning English in different parts of the city (Fulham, Chalfont St. Giles and Kingston). The course is open to children from 12 to 17 years old, you can book as an independent trip, as well as training a whole group or class.
You expect intensive and effective English lessons (15 per week, each lesson for 45 minutes): all general language skills develop (reading, listening, writing and speaking), vocabulary expands, lexicon, phonetics and syntax are studied. Lessons are usually built in an interactive form: it allows students to better remember and learn information, to make learning more efficient, comfortable and interesting, to ensure rapid progress in the shortest possible time. Great attention is paid to actively linguistic practice - students, regardless of their basic level of knowledge, constantly speak English: during classes (in groups and the whole class), on vacations, excursions, during creative and sporting events. Classes are formed up to 15 people in each: on the first day all students pass an entrance qualification test that determines their level of knowledge and distributes them to the appropriate group. Each week, screening tests are conducted to determine the level of achievement, identify possible weaknesses and, if necessary, adjust the curriculum. At the end of the training each student receives a corporate certificate, as well as a written report on his achievements and successes, designed for his parents.
