STI NUST MISIS is the only multidisciplinary technical university in the region that is part of the National University of Science and Technology MISIS. The Institute educates economists, mining engineers, metallurgical engineers and specialists in the field of information technology.

NUST MISIS has a nine-story dormitory building for 596 people. The total area of the student residential complex is more than 15,000 sq. m., on which a convenient infrastructure for leisure activities has been created: a children's playground, sports grounds, areas for recreation and creativity. In the residential building itself, comfortable living conditions have been created for students for the period of study: rooms for 500 students and apartments for 35 families of the teaching staff. Students live in rooms for 2-3 people. Each residential section is equipped with a bathroom, bathroom, laundry room, spacious kitchens equipped with household appliances on each floor.
On the ground floor of the dormitory, students with disabilities are accommodated.
Within walking distance from the hostel there is a fitness center, grocery stores, pharmacies.

Admission dates and extra charges
At NUST MISIS, the academic year begins in the first half of September and is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. Classes are held according to the schedule of a six-day working week. The beginning of classes is in accordance with the schedule of study groups.
At the end of each semester, an examination session is held. Students are provided with vacation weekends: winter (January) and summer (July-August).

Enrolment process
Acceptance of documents for full-time education at STI NUST MISIS begins on June 20 and goes:
- until July 25 (according to the results of the exam),

The maximum number of areas of education in which an applicant has the right to simultaneously participate in the competition is 5.
