Stanmore College is an additional education college where students aged 16-18 can enter. Stanmore College provides many opportunities for its students: a wide range of full-time courses and high-quality teaching.

Professional courses at Stanmore College are aimed at developing practical skills. Students and staff of Stanmore College eat on campus, choose dishes from the menu with hot and cold meals during lunch breaks. SC chefs take into account personal dietary characteristics and allergies. During hours when the college cafeteria is closed, students can buy snacks and coffee from vending machines.

In addition to core academic programs, Stanmore College offers additional or extracurricular modules. Some of them are implemented outside the campus — in partner institutions.

On the college territory, there are staff responsible for conducting the adaptation program: among the mandatory components of this program is an annual fair for first-year students, where newly minted students get acquainted with the opportunities that the college offers them - these are extracurricular activities, and numerous thematic sections with clubs, and meetings with senior students, and sports competitions. The medium-sized campus is located in the green area of Stanmore, next to a busy shopping street. To enter Stanmore College, an applicant needs to go through the admission procedure. It can take up to two hours, during which future students undergo an initial assessment of knowledge in English and mathematics. This can be done both offline and online. When applicants pass the tests, subject teachers will hold personal conversations with them.

Once entered, applicants will be enrolled in their chosen course and become college students officially. The main enrollment of students takes place at the end of August, before the start of the academic year.

Stanmore College teaching staff support the career endeavors and aspirations of their students, try to meet the needs of everyone, help students find and assimilate information about future work and the labor market. Career guidance mentors organize meetings with potential employers, find internship options, conduct personal consultations and group trainings, help with applying to UCAS, finding universities, writing personal applications, and preparing for interviews.

Only those foreign applicants who have valid documents confirming immigration and residence in the UK can enter Stanmore College. Depending on the chosen course, future students need to pass:

• 2 GCSE exams (or obtain a relevant entry-level qualification),
• 3 GCSE exams with grades of 3/D or above / relevant Level 1 certificate,
• 4 GCSE exams with grades 9-4 / A-C / corresponding Level 2 diploma.

Most third-level courses require at least second-level knowledge of English and mathematics. Some programs require applicants to have a third-level qualification and at least 9-4 points in the final exams in English and mathematics.

Stanmore College students whose annual gross household income is £30,000 or less may qualify for the scholarship. Financial support goes directly into the student's bank account through the BACS system. Receipt of payments is based on the student's attendance, academic performance, and individual circumstances.

Those students who are 16-18 years old as of August 31 can apply for a discretionary scholarship. In some cases, it covers all tuition, registration, and exam costs, but other tuition-related expenses, such as meals and travel, are left to the students or their guardians.

If a student turns 19 in an academic year, they can receive support as part of a special scholarship for students from 16 to 19 years old.
