Only those foreign applicants who have valid documents confirming immigration and residence in the UK can enter Stanmore College. Depending on the chosen course, future students need to pass:
- 2 GCSE exams (or obtain a relevant entry-level qualification),
- 3 GCSE exams with grades of 3/D or above / relevant Level 1 certificate,
- 4 GCSE exams with grades 9-4 / A-C / corresponding Level 2 diploma.
Most third-level courses require at least second-level knowledge of English and mathematics. Some programs require applicants to have a third-level qualification and at least 9-4 points in the final exams in English and mathematics.
Scholarships Stanmore College
Stanmore College students whose annual gross household income is £30,000 or less may qualify for the scholarship. Financial support goes directly into the student's bank account through the BACS system. Receipt of payments is based on the student's attendance, academic performance, and individual circumstances.
Those students who are 16-18 years old as of August 31 can apply for a discretionary scholarship. In some cases, it covers all tuition, registration, and exam costs, but other tuition-related expenses, such as meals and travel, are left to the students or their guardians.
If a student turns 19 in an academic year, they can receive support as part of a special scholarship for students from 16 to 19 years old.
