Description of Ss Cyril and Methodius University Skopje (UKIM)
Ss Cyril and Methodius University Skopje (abbreviated as UKIM ) is an educational institution of the state type, which has been active in scientific and academic activities since the beginning of 1943 in Macedonia. Currently, the university campus is located in Skopje.
This is a fairly large educational institution, where about 39,000 people successfully pass the course annually. The teaching staff of the institution is about 2500 teachers of the highest category. The university cooperates with universities around the world in the field of student and academic exchange.

The university unites more than 20 faculties and several research institutes operating in the fields of natural sciences and mathematics, technical and technological sciences, medicine, agriculture and veterinary science, social sciences and humanities, as well as in the arts.

Advanced doctoral training is provided through the university's School of Doctoral Studies, whose programs are designed for three years of study and include 180 ECTS credits.
In 2026, the university senate approved new curricula for the Faculty of Medicine: a three-year first-cycle program for paramedics, as well as two second-cycle specialization programs: for paramedics specializing in emergency medical care and for orthopedic nurses.

Every year, the Faculty of Physical Education, Sports and Health organizes university sports leagues in which students from different faculties participate. The main program of the leagues includes:
