SibSUFC is a major educational and sports center of Siberia and the Far East, where specialists in the field of physical culture and sports.

The implementation of the educational program at SibSUFC provides for the following forms: lectures, practical and seminar classes, extracurricular activities.

The structure of SibSUFC includes 4 faculties:

• Sports;
• scientific and pedagogical;
• physical culture;
• distance learning and additional education.

On the basis of SibSUFC there are interdepartmental research laboratories:

• "Historical, philosophical, cultural and socio-economic problems of physical culture, sports and tourism";
• "Medical and biological support of high-performance sports".

There is a Community of Young Scientists and Students.

SibSUFC has a base of two dormitories for 400 places (in total). The dormitories have created conditions for comfortable living. The layout of the rooms is apartment-type: each room has a bedroom, a kitchenette, a bathroom, a sink. Double-glazed windows have been installed, the water supply and heating system has recently been completely replaced in the buildings. There is a round-the-clock security post with electronic pass systems and video surveillance.

The educational buildings of the Siberian State University of Physical Culture are equipped with a canteen and a buffet.

Conditions for the harmonious development of students have been created at SibSUFC, special attention is paid to the formation of a scientific worldview, active citizenship and the development of creative skills. Various sports and cultural events are held annually, creative teams operate:

• Ensemble "Sardana";
• Ensemble of Sport Dance "Molodist";
• Jazz Fusion Creative Studio;
• Student Theater of Variety Miniatures "Vinaigrette".

The buildings of the Siberian State University of Physical Culture are located in the Oktyabrsky district of Omsk. In total, the university has 3 educational buildings at its disposal.

Sports facilities:

• Outdoor swimming pool;
• Athletics arena;
• Outdoor sports ground;
• Palace of Health;
• Swimming pool and sports and recreation complex "Albatross",
• Sports and Recreation Complex "Extreme Park SibGUFK",
• Stadium "Sports Core".

There is a library and a medical center.

The academic year at SibSUFC begins on September 1, the end of the academic year depends on the schedule of the educational process. One course consists of two semesters and two intermediate examination sessions. Vacations during one academic year are on average 8-9 weeks, excluding holidays.

Additional costs include:

• Transportation costs;
• Nutrition;
• Other household and personal expenses.

Acceptance of documents for full-time form begins on June 15 of the current year. At the same time, an applicant can apply for 5 directions. Deadlines for accepting documents for state-funded places:

• Until July 18 - for persons entering on the basis of the results of entrance examinations conducted by the University independently;
• Until July 18 - for persons applying for the results of the exam.

Entrance examinations are held from July 18 to July 25. 

There are three ways to submit documents:

• in person to the admissions office;
• by mail;
• in electronic form (through the portal "Public Services").

Every year, more than 2000 students study at SibSUFC in various areas and levels of education. There are about 300 state-funded places. The most popular destinations:

• "Physical Culture";
• "Sport".

More than 60% of graduates of SibSUFC are employed in the first year after graduation. 

Thanks to the regular improvement of the system of education specialists, SibSUFC was able to gain credibility in the field of physical education not only in Russia, but also abroad.

The applicant must meet the following requirements:

• Level of education (secondary general or secondary vocational);
• Physical education;
• Successful completion of the exam or entrance examinations.

The minimum amount of the state academic scholarship at the USMU is 2300 rubles.
