The Sergiev Posad Toy Institute is a unique and only university in Russia, within the walls of which specialists are trained in the field of decoration and toy manufacturing. Over its 90-year history, SPII has trained more than several thousand specialists.

SPII was founded in 1933 as an industrial toy college in Vyatka.
Accommodation, meals, prices
Nonresident students of the Institute live in a dormitory, there are 50 places in total. The dormitory has created conditions for comfortable living of SPII students: 1-2 people live in the rooms, there is a recreation room and a class for self-study. There is an access system, prepared kitchens for common use and laundry.
In addition, the building has a canteen of the university, where students can have lunch between couples.

Admission dates and extra charges
At SPII, the academic year begins in the first half of September and is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. Classes are held according to the schedule of a six-day working week. The beginning of classes is in accordance with the schedule of study groups.
At the end of each semester, an examination session is held. Students are provided with vacation weekends: winter (January) and summer (July-August).

Enrolment process
Acceptance of documents for full-time education at SPII begins on June 20 and lasts until July 14. Dates of introductory, creative and professional examinations: from July 15 to July 25. At the same time, an applicant can apply for 5 areas of study.
